I personally hope that President Obama has privately repaired his relationship with his former pastor, Rev. Wright and I would expect no less of him! That is the true spirit of our president and part of the real reason why some of us voted for him. Who wants a president who allows others to dictate his humanity? I sure don’t!

Hello Friends, it is a very good thing President Obama to restore his friendship with Rev. Wright. It is something needed as President Obama wants to be a man for change, I mean for justice, peace and true understanding between people around the world. If he shows himself to be incapable of making peace, of reconciling with his own fellow citizens, then he lacks the moral and psychological authority to foster understanding outside his country. The American people has to accept that as well. For this is the price to pay for a renewed America’s international standing. May the Good Lord help the American people to understand this approach, since it is for the sake of the United States and the world. Best regards.

the americans are an isolated lot, locked in mentally and physically to what they know and believe to be true to them. but when they try to apply their values and belief systems onto those of other cultures they fail miserably.. americans generally need to be educated about the outside world instead of basiing their very limited view of the world on very limited knowledge of it.. but generally americans black or white are the same mindset..they fight amongst each other but they are all a mirrow of themselves.. one group dominates the other ( whites dominate black americans ) and that has a lot do with culture as anything else..

You are the one that actually needs to get educated here. First of all, I use the term ‘per capita’ or ‘proportion’ a lot in my comments. Do you know what they mean? In regards to just violent crimes, Blacks DO commit the most even though they are a minority…look it up. PROPORTION AND PER CAPITA.
In terms of evolution, you could open up a science book or anthropology book and get educated…obviously, you’re not. I’m not a scientist, i’m an attorney, but here is some info that could get your thirst (or lack thereof) of knowledge get satiated. The earth is about 4 billion years old…life started as simple celled organisms/bacteria. The presence of so much oxygen, and other chemicals forced the change within these organisms. After MILLIONS OF YEARS, these simple cells evolved into fish. The fish grew legs and lungs…after MILLIONS OF MORE YEARS, great transformations of life kept on going. Simple/closed minds like your cannot grasp the amount of time it takes for evolution to show itself. HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF YEARS isn’t even a lot compared to the 4+ billions of years the earth has been in existence. The Book of Genesis said that God created the universe and all life on the planet earth in a few days…this is not true. Evolution is fact. The Bible, as i stated earlier, was created by humans who knew nothing of evolution, or advanced science.

You know what’s funny to me is that this country seems to actually believe that African Americans commit the most crimes in this country, the fact is that if you know anything about statistics you would know that it just can’t be true. In these “so called” studies no one ever says that African Americans only represent 13% of the people in this country and if that’s the case and you are comparing that to a majority in this country then it would clearly look as if we have the higher crime rates, diabetes rates, and AIDS rates. Learn your facts before you speak ignorance. Also, if we evolved from animals then where did the animals come from and what did they evolve from?
