I can’t believe all the silliness from both races on this site. First of all, it isn’t UK’s fault that this happened. There are Ignorant people in the world and obviously there were a couple of them on that campus that day. There were also a few who participated in the Palin Incendent. Both were in poor taste no matter why they were done. Ky is not just ignorant rednecks and hicks, I know… I live in KY. I am to the point that I don’t care who wins. I understand that people would love to see a black president and I think that it’s great but, that’s not a reason to vote for him. Also, he isn’t “BLACK” he is bi-racial and one of his parents are white. He should be a good person, role model and leader… that is what is most important, not the color of his skin. When he talks about change, I’m sure he is speaking of more than skin color also. I would be proud to have his role as a black person but, I wouldn’t want to win just because, I have black heritage. I feel like we are in the 60’s and race is the basis for everything in this election and it shouldn’t be. I know people who normally vote republican and have all their lives but, because, he is a black man we are voting for him. Being black won’t make you a better leader for black people or being white won’t make you a better leader to white people.
