Obama is Jumping All Over the Economy

President-elect Barack Obama is making it clear what his priority is, announcing that he is seeking a whopping $300 million in tax breaks for individuals and businesses. The cuts are aimed at reviving an economy locked in a recession that shows no end in sight. On Monday, Obama began meeting with lawmakers from both parties – including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), as well as Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), and House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) – to hammer out a plan for delivering a wide-ranging stimulus package. Obama has not officially put a price tag on tax plan, but his advisers have said it could fall between $675 billion and $775 billion; about 40 percent of that would be in tax cuts. Read more here.

You know, I hear a lot of people say how “unfair Obama’s tax plan is” but Oprah is one of the richest people in America… do you think she gives away these lavish, free gifts at the end of the year because she really enjoys it?
. . .She’s getting a tax break. I know not everyone makes as much as she does or can give away as much as she does: but WHEN YOU DONATE YOU GET A HUGE TAX BREAK!!! Those of you that are complainting about Obama’s tax plan know this already. Your tax break will end up being bigger than the rest of us making less than $250k/ year.

Do not be fooled! David is no doubt a African-American who enjoys stirring up conflict. He needs to post those type of IGNORANT emails because it gives him some form of attention that he does not otherwise receive. He is probably laughing at the stinging rebukes that he receives because of his ridiculous games. It seems as though we have several choices…..play along or just ignore him! All I am gunnA say is that I come from a family of republicans and having them trying to convince me to vote republican this election was annoying. I really hope Obama comes in office and makes a huge impact on this country. He needs to show all these ignorant people that it’s not about color, but the fact that he has a successful education behind him will in fact help him make these though out decisions.
