Three in four Americans believe that President-elect Barack Obama is making strong, thoughtful decisions as he prepares to take over as the nation’s 44th commander in chief, a new poll shows. When George W. Bush took the helm of power in 2001, six in 10 Americans saw him as a strong and decisive leader. Obama’s strongest suit, according to the CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey, is his ability to inspire and his apparent honesty. “That’s the best number an incoming president has gotten on that dimension since Ronald Reagan took office in 1981,” CNN Polling Director Keating Holland said. Come on now people the man is for the people, not blacks nor whites but for the people.. I know that white folks have done us wrong for a long time but if we stoop to their level then we will only be putting down what people like Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King and Marcus Garvey fought for which is UNITY… Lets be wise and show them that we don’t need arrogance to prove ourselves but through intellect we will stand strong…. and live up to the words of the Great BoB Marley – One Love, One Heart and let me say that the Jamaican Motto would be the perfect theme for this moment in History “Out of Many, One People”.
