Obama will move on plan for fixing economy. President Barack Obama is expected to sign into law the $700 billion-plus economic stimulus bill today. Following weeks of debate about the size and scope of the plan, the bill was passed late last weekend. Among incentives included in the package are individual, government-issued checks to taxpayers based on household size, along with homeowner tax credits. One goal of the package is to encourage spending and investment from consumers who’ve been handicapped from boosting the business economy by lack of disposable income.

Hopefully he can concentrate on revamping and upgrading the banking industry so we can get that money flowing again. Thats just as important as this stimulus package. I also hope that this guy doesn’t wait until his third year of presidency when he is up for re-election to do something positive for black businessmen and the black community development and international trade in this country. In my opinion, that should have been first on his list of priorities.
Although I am a proud Blk Canadian I would have voted for Obama. It will take time to get things right but at least he is on the right path. Hopefully there will be jobs soon for all people to be able to work on, especially for us Blacks who arent working and on welfare and food stamps. If anything, since we are so delinquent and dependent on the system we should be first in line to get those jobs:o)

I believe when reading it’s hard to tell if someone being sarcastic, but I believe BLACK was being Sarcastic. Jobs don’t got to a certain creed or gender it goes to the person qualified for the position. Dude grow up and be realistic.
