Pastor Joel Osteen’s Wife Wins In Court

It took a jury just a couple hours Thursday to kick a flight attendant to the curb who had accused the wife of mega-preacher Joel Osteen of assaulting her in a racist rant over a first-class seat. The case centered on Sharon Brown, an African-American attendant with Continental Airlines, who sued Victoria Osteen for $405,000, claiming that Osteen slammed her against a bathroom door, elbowed her in her breast and attempted to storm the cockpit during a December 2005 flight from Houston to Vail, Colo. Brown’s claims were supported by another flight attendant, Maria Johnson, who is White. Johnson testified earlier in the week that she believes race was a factor because Victoria Osteen told her that she did not want to deal with Brown or the other African-American flight attendant during the trip. But the 12 jurors didn’t buy the story, perhaps agreeing more with Victoria Osteen’s attorney, Rusty Hardin, who characterized the charges as nothing more than a money-grab. “I’m glad it’s over,” Victoria Osteen said afterward. “I expected it because it’s the truth and I know the truth always stands firm.” Brown expressed disappointment. “We gave the truth to the jury,” she said. “We are happy we had an opportunity to try our case.” Victoria and Joel Osteen co-pastor the Lakewood Church in Houston, which draws 42,000 each week at a football stadium.
It was a test! the decision was determined! all parties involved, learn from the experience. It’s time to move on up a little higher. The will of God has been done. Amen
Will African Americans from the Osteen’s Church please come forward, and let us know of any negative behavior from Mrs. Osteen towards African Americans? I asked this question based on what the Flight attendant said, which was “Mrs. Osteen said she didn’t want to deal with any other African Americans”.
I truly believed that Sharon Brown told the truth. I think she knew she was not going to win being that this case was in the south, and if you had read her comments after the verdict, she handled it with class. What she had done was to bring this case to the foref front to let people know that the Osteens had done on that plane on Dec. 19, 2005. Perhaps the hemmoraids, and losing her faith was a bit extreme, but all Sharon Brown wanted from this whole ordeal was an apology because Victoria was fined by the FAA for interfering with a FAA employee. And yet Victoria did not aplogized, even though she paid the $3000 fine. But to me, it would have been the other way around if Victoria was black, and Sharon Brown was white. Victoria would have been fired on the spot.
But I can tell you this, if the Osteens want to prove that they are not racist and snooty people which Sharon Brown and her lawyer perfectly painted then to be………..I would like to see them more visible in the black community. But I seriously doubt that would happen.

I’m so happy that this hoochie lost this case! She is a liar! She told that EXACT SAME LIE about a former co-worker back in 96′! She is crazy! Then she had the nerve to say that she lost her ’so called’ faith! Come on! If she REALLY had true faith she would have never lost it! THAT HEFFER GOT EXACTLY WHAT SHE DESERVED! What the hell are you talkin bout? she ain’t pass no test and if she’s supposed to be saved then ain’t she supposed to still love black people. the hemmorrhoids and lost of faith are all bulls**t and yes she wants money but the preacher’s wife was real foul and if she was real she wouldn’t have allowed things to get so far.

Listen I work at a company here in houston with a co-worker who attended the church for five years and was part of their staff. My co-worker said that she believe that first -lady Olsteen did just what the attendant said she did.
My co-worker said Mrs. Olsteen can get beside herself and attitudish from time to time, like she’s above herself sometimes but, when the attendant said she wants 10% of Olsteens net worth? She lost the battle right there. That’s when everybody believed she was just money-hungry. Had she kept her mouth closed to see what they would settle for and all that other nonsense she came up with. I knew she was going to lose that battle. Especially with Rusy Hardin being Olsteens atty. So the attendant made herself look like a flat out, down right fool.
Stop Thinking those people in ministry don’t make no mistakes. I believe Olsteen did just the flight attendant said Olsteen did to her and yes Olsteen can have an attitude from time to time. After the attendant said 10%, I stop listening then because that told me right there that she was money hungry.

REDEEMED FROM THE CURSE -
Been a Lakewood member for 6 years – feel I know the Osteens better than some of the ones posting here. They’re genuine and people of God. No, they’re not perfect and no human being is. The favor of God was with Victoria. God heard our prayers for justice and our wonderful creator was faithful in his promise and had mercy on Victoria. Nothing new or surprising to us who know who the Lord works. Victoria said Sat night there must be a reason in God’s plan for this to have taken place and even though it was burdensome to bear, she accepted it humbly. This has only increase my faith and trust in Joel Osteen’s ministry and yes! we celebrated this victory all weekend. Anything the gets you closer to our Father and Creator has got to come from Him. Praise God and Thanks for being there for our leader.
People please do not include GOD in every event of a persons BEHAVIOR or their ACTIONS. Human beings bring on their very own destructions. When something goes wrong they say “The Devil made me do it. Or when something goes in your Favor oh, GOD was in my corner. GOD does not play favor games He gives blessings. Who is right or who is wrong ONLY GOD and those individuals knows. You are not to praise ANYONE but GOD. No man could ever meet to GOD standards. To put this situation based on GOD blessings you may want to reread your BIBLE again. Ms. Brown and Ms. Osteen, both should have kept this out of the public negative eyes.
