But about this subject. I can not understand til this day why white cops murdering innocent blacks and getting away with it. This cop shot and killed this innocent women while holding her child, plus wounding the child and NOT to add, he did all this in front of her other children, leaving all her kids motherless, have he even thought what these poor children will go through and endure for the rest of their lives. This cop could care less, but I know for a fact, if this was a WHITE women and a BLACK cop did this, JUSTICE WOULD BE SERVED. The Black cop would go to jail, NO QUESTIONS ASK. Maybe someone from this young lady’s family needs to do the same thing to HIS FAMILY and lets see how he would feel. I pray that her family will get JUSTICE done or they sue this cop FOR EVERYTHING HE HAS EVER WORKED FOR HIS ENTIRE LIFE: THE BASTARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but i pray for the family of Tarika and especially for the children. This is a very sad story. I know one thing; the police of Lima should make sure that All of the financial needs for her children are taken care of through college.

If the Police have not learned anything yet from all of the unjust killings . then it it is safe to say that soon mabe they will learn that to many killings for no reason equals revenge and riots. It is just a matter of time and for the right cause!

I’ve lived in Lima most of my life. I relocated three days after this shooting happened. I’ve watched this story unfold from day one. I marched, I yelled and I cried with the blacks from my home town community. All I have to say is that I hope the FBI’s investigaton will but the spotlight on the LPD because they have been dirty for a long time (ask any black person who has lived there) and some changes are made. Until that happens I would advise any person of color to MOVE!!! There is nothing good for us there.
