Police say they’ve got the murderer of Hudson’s family. Police formally charged the estranged brother-in-law of Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson on Tuesday with murders in the shooting deaths of Hudson’s mother, brother and nephew. Despite questions from the suspect’s mother, police said on Tuesday that they were confident that evidence was sufficient to convict William Balfour, 27, the estranged husband of Jennifer Hudson’s elder sister, Julia, for the crimes, Reuters reports. “You can never always know how a jury will decide a case, but I’m confident the evidence is there and I’m confident we’ll be successful,” Chicago Police Superintendent Jody Weis said. They had the murder weapon and physical evidence as well as the testimony that would convict Balfour. The motive for the October 24 murders, police said, was a dispute between the two Julia and Balfour.

What is wrong with you? What is “serial” about the Hudson killings? I am personally happy that law enforcement took their time to arrest him. While he was a person of interest, they were investigating the case and gathering evidence. If he didn’t do it, he definitely had something to do with it.

Sharonda is stupid and ignorant if you ask me…It was clear cut from the beginning of this whole ordeal dude had something kind of involement in the whole thing. As stephanie said, the authorities took their time to gather all that they needed to be able to file charges against this man. If he did it, i hope he is punished for his crime. If he did’nt i hope they do find who did it.

Sharonda learn to speak and spell sweetheart. We are living in a very crazy and evil world. People of all colors are acting ignorant and just plain stupid. Stop living in the past and live for the future. The truth will eventually come out if he did not do it. What you need to do is pray for the Hudson family and also pray for the brother and his family, cause no matter what happens; lives were taken that should not have been.
Sharonda please don’t use the race card for this. I am sick of reading comments like that! Let the judicial system take care of this. I am also happy that they took their time. If he did this he will be punished, hopefully by the death penalty because I feel that you should receive the same punishment as the crime. Giving him free room and board will not bring the lives back. If blacks come together and help each other instead of finding reasons why white people hold us down. They don’t hold us down, we hold our own selves down.
The fact is we need to pray for the whole family because all of the Hudson family is hurting. It hurts me just to know someone can do this to someone whether they are a celebrity or not. Can anyone imagine how Jennifer Hudson sister feel losing her 7 year old son to someone she thought loved them. This was her child that she gave birth to her mother who birth her, Jennifer and there brother. This is just sad to even hear that this person done this and his mother is hurting now because she felt her son wouldn’t do something like this, It’s just to much pain in this situation.
