Politics: Condoleezza Rice Performs For Queen
December 4th, 2008Condoleezza Rice performs for the Queen. U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice gave a piano recital for the Queen on Tuesday during what could be her final visit to Buckingham Palace as the nation’s top diplomat. Rice performed music by Johannes Brahms accompanied on violin by Louise Shackleton, the wife of David Miliband, the foreign secretary. Three members of the London Symphony Orchestra backed the high-profile duo. Afterward, the Queen presented Rice with a recording of the performance as a gift. America’s most senior diplomat is a classically trained pianist who had expressed a wish to play at the palace. She was making her final trip to Britain before heading to India.

Whaat a smart, talented and beautiful woman and how fortunate we are to have her in the White House. Most of all she is committed to the truth.
Lynn you are a hater! Don’t be mad, she is doing her thing!
LASHAWDUH..YOUR MOM SMELLS LIKE MY SKID MARK DRAWS!!
I like her and think President Obama should keep her in the White House.
Ha-Ha- to all you hater Dr. Rice does not need a Resume she is a well educated and GRAND DIVA
I may not be a fan of the Bush Administration, but Condoleezza Rice is a very well educated woman and an inspiration for the black community.
I SAY YES TO CONDOLEEZZA RICE, IT WOUILD BE NICE IF OBAMA WOULD KEEP HER AROIUND.
I must admitt I’m a very big fan of Condoleeza Rice, once I read her
story I was completely impress with her history and very proud of her.
I love, love, love classical music from Bach to kloski and I also play
the piano ,so to see this role scholar with all that talent I’m in love with
Ms. Rice. I was kind of hoping that President Obama keep her on his
staff….
I agreed, I wish Obama would keep her around, very intelligent women–well posed!
I agree with Keely Chow: I, too, am not a big fan of the “Shoe to the Head” Bush Administration, but Dr. Rice definitely gets high marks from me! Her education, grace, poise, diplomacy, and tack made us all take a second look at horrible “Republican” Administration. I, too, was also hoping that President Elect Obama would have kept her on at Secretary of State. But since the choice were between her and Clinton, I’m glad Obama chose Clinton. We need a fresh face to represent the US in world affairs!
Much respect and great props to Ms. Rice!
