I reside in Oklahoma in a town called McAlester. And our newspaper place Obama on the very last/back page of the newspaper and it is a disgrace. I am so shocked at all the blatent racism that has come force since the election. it is crazy..

Well, they can just get over it… he is still their president too, whether they want to admit it or not! It’s their ignorance! That just let’s you know…things are changing, but not completely CHANGED!! We’ve got a long way to go…

The biggest revenge is success!! I don’t know why Black America continues to get upset about the overt, suttle and/or hidden racism in America. Once we have identified the source, remove your resources (your MONEY). Money is the only thing racism recognizes. From the Civil War to the Civil Rights movement to modern day events, it was the lost of revenue that truly brought about change. President-Elect Obama would have had a more difficult time with out the economic fall out and that $750 million he was able to raise. Don’t get me wrong, Obama was more than qualified, but when has that ever made a difference. Stop marching and redirect your resources, work with others in your community and start your own news paper or whatever and NEVER give your money or energy back to that business or entity. Why must we continue to beg for a piece of the pie, when we created the oven that bakes the lie. TAKE BACK YOUR COMMUNITY AS I WORK TO TAKE BACK MINE. START CARING MORE ABOUT THE QUALITY OF LIFE YOU LIVE INSTEAD OF JUST PLAIN OLD LIVING!

This is truly sad. I can’t believe how many organizations are boy cotting our president. Black People all we can really do about things like this is return the favor. Stop watching them, stop supporting them or anything that their about. We’re the number one consumers. Anybody or anything we collectively stop supporting falls off. i live in Tulsa, Oklahoma and when i heard this i was kinda speechless. and then hearing that Oklahoma was also the only state that obama didn’t win at least one county made it even worst. i had a older white lady tell me the only reason she was voting mccain was because he is against abortion. now let me make it clear that i don’t believe abortion is right but its also none of my business what another person does with her body, and the fact that this lady that told me this is around 60 years old, this issue does not affect her at all. i mean if she needed an excuse for not voting for an African-American that was the dumbest one I’ve ever heard of. my younger bro goes to Langston university which is a hbcu, most of the students had to register in logan county which is “redneckville” they somehow “lost” most of their voter registration and after they voted they informed them that their vote might not count. they also had (white) students from oklahoma state university come and “watch” the langston students to make sure there was no campaining near the poll sight. so im thinking when i graduate, i catching the first plane out of oklahoma

And Again i say how much more proof does it take to realize that most Republicans are racist. If their man had won they would be talking about who unamerican it is not to support the president. So what’s their excuse. I sat last night and watched the Atwater story on t.v . If you dont know Atwater was the head of the Republican party when George senior was president and the same racist style of campaigning that they used then is what they used againts Pres. Obama. So what does that say about the Republican party and another thing what does that say about blacks that are Republican HOW LONG CAN THEY SELL THEMSELVES OUT.

I live in Oklahoma, and I am ashamed to say that. Yes they are racist. The whole state is. That is why McCain won every county. It is really sad that people can’t get over race. I tell you Oklahoma has more rednecks and there are more prejudice people here than probably anywhere. What is really sad is that we have more poor whites that will need all the help Obama is talking about ; that voted against him because of the color of his skin. Nothing suprises me. Oklahoma has the highest female incarcarations, it is 4th in men. We still have a long way to go in Oklahoma.
