Politics: Obama Urges Americans to ‘Come Together’
December 20th, 2008Obama urges Americans to “come together” after anti-gay criticism. After hearing criticism from much of the gay community that helped elect him, Barack Obama is asking citizens to “come together.” The president-elect’s plea follows an outcry over his invitation of author and pastor Rick Warren to perform the invocation prayer at Obama’s January inauguration. Warren, author of the best-selling book The Purpose Driven Life, rallied against gay marriage legislation in California this election year. “We’re not going to agree on every single issue, but what we have to do is be able to create an atmosphere where we can disagree without being disagreeable, and then focus on those things that we hold in common,” Obama says. “There are going to be a wide range of viewpoints that are presented, because that’s what America is about.” Obama’s latest controversy is the second time he drew significant criticism for association with clergy since he started on the road to the White House. His former pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, was thought to be a threat to Obama’s entire candidacy after comments by Wright that some called anti-American received widespread media attention.

One interesting thing which occurred during the campaign was some reporters covering Obama complained that Obama’s plane stunk. The smell was actually tracked to Mrs Obama. She was not allowed to ride the plane again and the reporters that brought up the issue were not allowed on the plane again. This once again shows that even ‘important’ niggas have that horrible nig-stink. It is disgusting as is that gorilla Mrs. Obama.

It’s male and female not male, female, homosexual, transexual, and lesbian there’s only two genders. Being gay is a behavior not a gender. For the gay community to get mad at Obama is not right. This is just satan’s way of causing more problems for Obama and that is the truth. We have had 43 presidents and it seems that everyone expect more out of Obama than any president America has had. Just a tip we are going to need God whether Obama, Bush, or who ever else is in that white house. And my suggestion is i hope Obama bring in a new electoral in his cabinet and that is a spiritual advisor commitee team, because God should not be left out of the decision making in America.

Obama is not a new Jim Jones or a liar and not everyone will agree with ALL of his decisions. That’s a good thing because that means that he is not catering to ONE particular group. There are very diverse factions in this country and he has to attempt to please the majority of the factions. Not just gays, black, veterans, disabled, etc… Anyone who sees the same old shyt from past administrations is not seeing very well or even paying attention. But I undersand CHANGE intimidates some folks. When people don’t see what they want to see they assume something is wrong. Give Obama the same chance you gave George Bush…he can’t do worst.
