President Bush Welcomes Obamas to the White House

November 6th, 2008

Obama

President Bush welcomes the Obamas to the White House. President Bush on Wednesday hailed the election of Barack Obama as the next U.S. president as “a triumph of the American story” and acknowledged the significance of Obama’s rise to become the nation’s first Black president.  He said watching Obama walk through the doors of the White House “will be a stirring sight” but welcomed the first couple to visit prior to Obama’s January inauguration.  Obama’s election is “a testament to hard work, optimism and a faith in the enduring promise of our nation,” Bush said in a White House Rose Garden briefing on Wednesday. “No matter how they cast their ballots, all Americans can be proud of the history that was made yesterday.” Bush’s second term in the Oval Office will end when Obama is sworn in on Jan. 20.

Extremely unbelievable,
I really think that the US is politically stable,no ridging and it also symbolizes that the world is really getting democratic and that racists are dying out day by day.

For African leaders, you should all take an example of what is taking place in the states, greed for power and for personal gains shouldn’t be given priority as you’ve always done!

Don’t think of life presidency,Bush is leaving and McCain has admitted that he was defeated.
Take note

To GOD Be The Glory!!!!!! We made it people! Let’s love and help one another! It’s a brand new day and time to make that change we were so eagerly talking about! We voted on November 4, 2008, but it doesn’t stop there! We have to help Obama stay in office and help him to start to get this country back in order! It won’t take just one term, because so much damage has been done in an eight year period. He will make mistakes because he’s human, just keep praying and do what is asked of us. The Lord put him there for a reason and he didn’t bring him this far to let him fail! To GOD Be The Glory!!!!!!

Congrats to President-elect Obama and his beautiful family! Thank you for showing us what can be achieved with determination, and a strong will. We are intelligent, beautiful people who can do anything POSITIVE that we put our mind to.

To all the people who frequent this site, let’s continue with the CHANGE! Teach your sons and daughters that they can do more than stand on the corners and walk around naked shaking your ass! Make sure they go to school and don’t accept less than the best from them. And if you don’t know how to be a parent and/or need help-ASK for it!

There are no more excuses. Obama and Michelle has raised and set the bar. No excuses My People!

Continue to keep thine enemies and nay sayers lifted in prayer. It will be difficult for them to understand the joy felt around the world and will do everything in their power to destroy continents, let alone the U.S. Willie Lynch’s rules still thrive among us to this day, but we must ward off this evil by perfecting the love within your heart. Each of you please stay strong and continue to spread love, peace and joy. The human race is depending on your faith .

Gigi dont take offense to what Bush sad in regards to the Obamas being a stirring sight. It was an amazing thing to see Barak become President and Bush is just as shocked as well all were. I am very happy and full of life to know he is the President of the United States and trust when i tell you that Bush and his camp didnt expect for him to win seeing as they cheat and cheated thats why we had his ass for 4 more years than we wanted. But I am proud of all the people that registered to vote and made the BARAK vote. By the way BET fam wheres all the smart mouf white people now????

Trey I don’t think Bush meant “stirring site” as a bad thing. I think he was saying it would stir up alot of emotions to see the first black man walk into the white house. As much as I don’t like Bush he truly did seem proud of his country when he gave this speech. Whatever your politics may be you can’t deny that this is one of our country’s finest days. I am a white male and I can’t stop smiling at how proud I am to call myself an American today.

Congratulations, OBAMA stay focused and no that GOD is in control! I pray that you and your family is cover with GOD angles. The bible says in Isaiah 54-17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

OBAMA IS PRESIDENT!!!!!! What has been amazing to me is the look of hope and happiness in the eyes of our youth. Change is beginning already in each and everyone of us. Ms g Baby – you will be able to vote in the next election, I get the feeling that you talked about this important election and shared information every chance you got. This will an uphill battle for Obama, but I know in my heart that Obama will continue to bring positive change. I support him 100 %. May God will continue to bless Obama and all of us.

YES WE CAN.

Brother Obama has made me proud. I am inspired further that God’s ways are not man’s ways. He made a man of a Black African father and a while mother with an arabic name that means blessing to rule America, to elevate the blacks and pacify the arabs and gladden the Japanese town of Obama. God is great!!!!!!!!!
