I want to congratulate the american people on forming a majority government that is by the people, for the people. That means you as an individual can make a difference in your community. You want the world to be a better place it starts with you. When you add up the blue collar workers, and all the visible minorites, together forms a majority. So now we see the Universal Truth, ‘Out of Many, One People’.
As a Canadian I hope you get the universal health care, the Democrats have tried to pass before. Despite what some fear mongers would like to say, it is not the prelude to socialism. Every person deserves equal access to health care.
As an individual, I am secretly hoping that many people incarcerated in California for life under the three strikes your out rule, can be given a fourth chance at freedom. I don’t think that the war will suddenly end, and truth be told, the army needs more people. Certain individuals left in prison should be given the opportunity to serve a standard term for the military, paid as everyone else, with the same benfits, in exchange for their freedom. If I was a three time petty criminal, I’d want an opportunity to change my life, and would jump at the chance.
The american people were such a disempowered people as a whole. I am elated at the voter turnout, but just voting isn’t going to be it. Everyone needs to look within themselves to sacrifice something for the collective whole. Take part in your community, everyday is an opportunity to educate yourself. If everyone goes back to doing the same thing they did before, then the change you wish to see, is not going to happen. Be the change you want to see in your world. It starts in your home, in your community.
Free yourself of the negative thinking that has kept you from achieving what you want in life. The only thing that is holding you back is yourself. Don’t expect something for nothing. As the old adage goes: Ask not what your Country can do for you, Ask what You can do for your country.
