R. Kelly’s kin named in barbershop shooting. The teen nephew of singer R. Kelly has been charged as an adult in the alleged attempted murder and attempted armed robbery of patrons at a barbershop last month. Brayel Kelly, son of the singer’s brother Carey, wasn’t initially identified as a suspect because he was also shot in the incident. The teen’s brother was also at the scene of the alleged crime, but hadn’t been charged.

Sassy1- Girl sit down!!! Damn R Kelly he should have been more focused on helping to pull his family out of poverty instead of fondling, molesting under aged girls(not women). He doesn’t owe them anything for his success but he owes his success to GOD and his family is a part of God’s family. Anytime God blesses you he expexcts us to behave like him and share our Blessings that is the Christian way. Anyone that doesn’t share that view isn’t christ-like. I will put them on my prayer list.
I know that is one thing that annoy me as well… The media act like R kelly told his nephew to do so.. I think every man is responsible for there own actions and they should keep kells out of it… so sad…
I am unclear as to why people think it is R-Kelly’s responsibility to take care of his family. Yes, he has made it big. Yes, it would be right to break your family off with something, but why is it that people seem to think that it is his responsibility to take care of other able bodied adults? No one knows the situation with the family, however, I would hope that this young brother would know better than to rob a barbershop, and his dad was there with him. We aren’t looking at the whole picture, just a piece of it. The sad reality of the entire situation is another young black brother is on his way to jail. That’s the sad part of the state our people are in right now, not R-Kelly and his money or fame.

First of all a rumor is a rumor on r.kelly behalf. The so called little girls may have been comeing on to him being too grown, for as the nephew true that r.kelly is not responsible for his actions, and who’s to say if r.kelly is being stingy with his money. Maybe the nephew was just being greedy and money hungry. Not alone he probably had his own personal reasons why he did it.
