How many of our babies do we have to lose to the police??? I am so glad that these rappers are showing there support to the Bell Family and my prayers will forever be up to the sky for his family. My black people, all of us in all 50 states Please stand up for your people vote, educate, give to yourcommunity, even if you have nothing to give remember time is the most valuable thing you own talk to the young men that thinks it is cool to pick up guns and kill another just like himself, educate the young ladies teach them the history of strong black mothers show them that they count and maybe one day th police will see us standing in Unity and leave us alone let Sean Bell be the last to die in vain but the first to start us being ONE
i will definetly be buying that song regard less to if i like it or not it will be on my ipod soon
R.i.P SEAN BEll!
Much respect for my young black brothers for standing up like real men to do what they can. Sean Bell should not have died like that…the police should not have gotten off…but the judicial system will always protect it’s own…right or wrong. This should be publicized on TV, newspapers and everywhere just like all the negative news about the hip hop artists.
These rappers are a good role model for our young kids to see how celebrity status can be used to give back to their community on behalf of others.
I think that it is a beautiful thing that the black community and hip hop in general is being so supportive to Mrs. Bell. That woman has lost her husband and the father of her children and although I know it doesn’t make it go away I know that it helps to know that people are willing to go through that pain with her. I was recently released from a federal prison and while I was in there my husband was also murdered and nothing has been done about it. So I can certainly identify whith some of the feeling that she’s going through. To her i just want to say KEEP YOUR HEAD UP!! You are a beautiful black woman and what this so called justice sytem won’t do GOD will. For vengence is his!
I think that is a very good idea. It is very sad how our police officers think that it is ok because they are above the law, but it is not ok. Sean Bell deserves justice.
LoL they are making a track for sum1 who was wanted by the police, FOR OBVIOUS ILLEGAL REASONS. Are they gona make a track for people who do bad things, cuz u can put my name in it
I just want to send strength and love to the Bell family. I admire the rappers that came together to do something like this on Mr. Bell’s behalf and family.
why does someone always have to bring negativity to a great cause (PIMp)…..that’s a great look on the behalf of these artists. more of us need to stand up for what’s right. And even if Sean was wanted for something illegal, he didnt deserve to get fatally punished the way that he did. God Bless his soul, family and this entire world, because we all need it….
FIRST OF ALL TO THE P.I.M.P YOU SOUND FOOLISH,IT DOES NOT MATTER IF THE YOUNG BROTHER WAS WANTED FOR WHAT EVER REASON(NO I DO NOT CONDONE CRIME OF ANY SORT)BUT THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS THAT MAN DIED A HORRIBLE UNECESSARY DEATH AT THE HANDS OF SOME TRIGGER HAPPY OFFICER’S OF THE SO CALLED LAW!IT’S TIME FOR A POSITIVE CHANGE FROM ALL OF US NO MATTER HOW BIG OR SMALL,WHAT THE RAPPER’S ARE DOING IS BEAUTIFUL,AND TO MRS.BELL GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME,AND KNOW THAT HE IS STANDING RIGHT THERE.GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR BABIES.
I feel thats a good thing for the rappers to do blacks need to stick togeather but its to many haters out here They or doing what the white man wonts .you see a cop kills a black brother and gets no time and thats cool may be he got away on earth but he wont make it in gods kingdom that was some ones son daddy husband brother and thats a part of they life gone just as well i lost my brother his name was shonn and im still dealing with it its been 18years ago because of the chirst i have in me is why i can keep going with out god you have nothing my prayers go out to his family………….
hip hop hip hop hip hop, god, is there ANYTHING ELSE ABOUT BLACK AMERICA OUT THERE RIGHT NOW?. NO.
SINCE WHEN HAVE RAPPERS WHO GLORIFY THUGGIN PIMP GUN CRIME LIFESTYLE BEEN ROLE MODELS FOR ANYONES KIDS?.
Thats good what u all are doing, atleast someone cares unlike that judge who acquitted those cops who shot him up,I am still keepin him and his family in my prayers!
We as black can and do come together and stand for something good. It’s a shame they only show the bad. Peace
yes.. we need to stand up for what is right and let justice be done…im really happy for the rappers to get up and write something that touches all of us and relates to todays society.. im glad that they care and all my love goes to the bell’s familly.. R.I.P SEAN
To P.I.M.P.,
Sean Bell was not wanted by the police he was attending his bachelor party. Check your facts before you denigrate one of NYPD’s latest victims. Decent people usually show respect for the dead and their family…not try to add insult to injury.
OLOUNWA,OLOUNWA, OLOUNWA
I have noticed that you are very, very opinionated and critical on these BET message boards. In particular about our BLACK AMERICAN CULTURE, why is that? As most INTELLIGENT BLACK AMERICANS know, obviously there is more to our culture than Hip-Hop. It is simply ludicrous to think otherwise. BET is not our only medium of news and issues for BLACK AMERICA…it is but a miniscule piece of the picture. Perhaps you should look further than BET. But right now, on this message board, we are showing appreciation and respect for the positive that is being done by some of the Hip-Hop industry for the Sean Bell family. In America decent people give credit where credit is due.

Let me give you some advice, ignore Olounwa because she has a abysmal aversion to entertainment of any kind, does not live in or understand Blacks in America. She seems too think all of America are monolithic. In short she comes across as a very misrable person.
