Sean Bell was not wanted by the police he was attending his bachelor party. Check your facts before you denigrate one of NYPD’s latest victims. Decent people usually show respect for the dead and their family…not try to add insult to injury.

I have noticed that you are very, very opinionated and critical on these BET message boards. In particular about our BLACK AMERICAN CULTURE, why is that? As most INTELLIGENT BLACK AMERICANS know, obviously there is more to our culture than Hip-Hop. It is simply ludicrous to think otherwise. BET is not our only medium of news and issues for BLACK AMERICA…it is but a miniscule piece of the picture. Perhaps you should look further than BET. But right now, on this message board, we are showing appreciation and respect for the positive that is being done by some of the Hip-Hop industry for the Sean Bell family. In America decent people give credit where credit is due.
