Rep. Jackson denies involvement in Illinois Senate seat scandal. Federal authorities confirmed on Wednesday that U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. was the “Candidate Five” to which Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich implied in a taped conversation was willing to pay to get appointed to fill the Senate seat vacated by President-elect Barack Obama. In the indictment, the governor said a representative for “candidate #5″ was willing to raise $500,000 for his campaign and $1 million if he was appointed to the coveted Senate seat. However, Jackson, in a Wednesday news conference, strongly denied he had promised anything to the governor in secure the seat. Read the rest here.
He’d be very DUMB if he really thought he’d get away with something like this. Apparantly, Illinois is the most corrupt state when it comes to politics… I’d like to believe he didn’t do it… especially with the drama his father caused a few months ago. But for some reason, seeing his news taping – I didn’t believe him…
Just because that so-called Reverand, Jesse Jackson is a disreputable hypocrite does not mean that his son, who is an elected (with the help of the support of some white voters) congressman is a crook.
Let’s not be too quick to judge whether Congressman Jackson is guilty of being a crooked poltician or an innocent victim of some race-related witch-hunt. Even a serial killer gets, to some degree, the benefit of innocence until the evidence is weighed.
WASHINGTON is the most corrupt city in AMERICA, and let’s not forget it, has anyone forgotten about BUSH, this is something CARL ROVE would do, and beside’s , the closer JANUARY come’s, the more STUFF is going to be put out about the PRESIDENT ELECT, MONDAY it was the BIRTH CERTIFICATE, and then the FBI waited to see the result’s, and then TUESDAY, look what happened, now when this calm’s down, they will bring something new to the table, next it will be MICHELLE OBAMA, they are trying to SMEAR the OBAMA’S, by ANY MEAN’S NECESSARY, their motive is to bring in doubt.
Get the cell ready they have him on tape , Chicago is full of crooks in government , time to lock these scumbags up.
That Governor is working for the devil and trying to bring men of honor and of God down with him, but NO weapon formed against a child of the Most High God shall prosper. It is claimed and decreed and bound and loosed in HEAVEN!

It didn’t start with a “Black & White” issue, the first entry was taken out of context . But you got to admit the GOV is just dirty, and like another blog said… Had it been Jackson, they would of put him out of office, and YES it would of been primarily due to the color of his skin.
