Rep. Jesse Jackson Told Feds About Illinois’ Governor

Rep. Jesse Jackson told the feds about Illinois’ governor. Illinois Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. has been a government informant, spilling the beans on Illinois’ embattled governor and other miscreant politicians for years, The New York Post reported Tuesday. The newspaper said that a Jackson spokesman, Kenneth Edmonds, acknowledged that Jackson had spoken to the feds about Gov. Rod Blagojevich and others. Blagojevich is now under investigation for allegedly trying to sell Obama’s vacated U.S. Senate seat to the highest bidder. Chicago’s WLS-TV reported that Jackson Jr., the son of the famed civil rights leader of the same name, told investigators Blagojevich refused to make Jackson’s wife director of the state lottery because Jackson would not pledge $25,000 to the governor’s campaign fund. “Blagojevich went out of his way to say, ‘You know I was considering your wife for the lottery job and the $25,000 you didn’t give me? That’s why she’s not getting the job,’” a source told The Associated Press. Jackson doesn’t deny meeting with Blagojevich about his interest in Obama’s Senate seat one day before the governor was arrested on federal corruption charges.
I THINK REV J.J JR WAS TRYING TO GET IN WHERE HE FIT IN. WHEN THE REV. MET WITH THE GOVERNOR HE WAS PROBABLY TO THE POINT TO WHERE HE WAS WILLING TO DO ANYTHING TO GET OBAMA SEAT. THEN , HE LEARNED ABOUT THE SCHEME ON HIS WIFE AND RATTED THE GOV. OUT. I THINK THIS LITTLE J.J. JR IS A MESS. ONLY TIME WILL TELL WHAT THE OUTCOME WILL BE.

SHARONDA, I’m just curious as to what you would do if you knew someone was doing some “shady” stuff that might hinder you from getting a job that you well deserved. LYNN, (don’t know if you’re male or female) I haven’t followed your blogs, but (bruh or sista) I agree with you. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. was being groomed for such a time as this. He is a brotha who displayed his “ETHICAL DEMEANOR”. I like that, bruh. This nation just elected the first ever Black President! And if we can do that we can keep it going and elect another after 8 years!!!! BLACK, BACK TO BACK!!! Hey, we did it in the Miss America Pageant in ‘90 and ‘91! The election of Barack Obama as our next president shows that we as a people really CAN do anything, with the help of God!

You are probably correct in saying many politicians are going too go down.Have you noticed that many of these guys that get caught bring it on themselves,for example the Gov. of Ill. talking too much knowing he was being investigated and Ex-Sen. Larry Craig of Idaho who admitted his guilt about the homosexaul advances in a bathroom then try too change his plea.

As far as Jesse Sr. and Jr. are concerned there is something just not right. This is not a race issue. Whatever you do will come out sooner or later. I’m not being judgmental. I am not blind and neither are you. The writing is on the wall.

If Jesse Jackson, Jr is trying to clean-up corruption; then he most definitely needs to help get rid of all the Democrats and Republicans who have ripped off the American people who are still sitting in Congress and the House of Representatives. Most of the time, corruption will not be won by one single person who is trying to do good. I think there is more to this story; I applauds being truthful but one person can’t bring down a bunch of corrupted people who cares nothing about the people they represents but only cares about themselves. I would love to see Jesse appointed to the senate but he can kiss this seat good-bye forever. I don’t see the people of Illinois voting for him because he can’t be trusted.
its difficutl being a righteous man in a land of crooks and theives. He may have had to protect himself, given the nature of chi-town politics. the city has famed Al Capone, King Hoover, and Chief Malik ganstas in its mix. I pray that Jr. remains safe and does what he has to do in order to help the people of illinois. Obama would not play with the Gov. either. If we remove the snakes and enemy from our government, we may all prosper.

I respect the man for speaking the truth! Don’t know what it will do to his reputation in that city with all the corruption there but he told the truth. He righted a wrong and he should not be punished for it. He probably needs to leave Chicago at this point though.
