Reporter Throws His Shoes at Bush
December 15th, 2008Reporter throws his shoes at Bush. Saying that he was angry over the deaths of women and children at the hands of U.S. military personnel, a reporter for a Baghdad TV station hurled his shoes at President Bush Sunday, barely missing Bush, who was in the middle of a news conference with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. “This is a farewell kiss, you dog,” Muntadar al-Zeidi yelled in Arabic as he hurled his shoes at Bush. “This is from the widows, the orphans and those who were killed in Iraq.” Al-Zeidi, identified as television correspondent, was wrestled to the ground by members of the crowd. “So what if the guy threw a shoe at me?” said Bush, who narrowly missed being hit in the head. “If you want the facts, it was a size 10,” he joked. He continued with jokes later aboard Air Force One, when he quipped, “I didn’t know what the guy said but I saw his `sole, ” The Associated Press reported.

“THE SECRET SERVICE”.. SHOULD HAVE DIRECTED THE SHOES TO IT’S TARGET!!..AND GAVE THE MAN A MEDAL
It couldn’t have happend to a nicer guy.
I do not agree with Bush on anything, but we are paying the Secret Service to protect the President of the United States and you need to think about what kind of protection they will give the incoming President.
That was the funniest moment of the year!!! The only other time Bush acted that fast was when he went to war for no reason!!!
That was the funniest moment of the year!!! The only other time Bush reacted that fast was when he went to war for no reason!!! All BS aside, the Secret Service did a horrible job in their actions. I just hope they do a better job protecting President Obama.
Please put yourself in they shoes; if you was responsible for thousands of deaths that was base on a lie what would you have thrown at him? Would it been a shoe!
I saw it and ROLLED, he ducked to the left and ducked to the right, he has some quick reflexes LOL… I wonder if throwing a shoe is punishable by death in that country, we all know their laws are nothing to mess with. I guess David Letterman will have to ADJUST his top 10 President Bush moments *FALLS OUT LAUGHING*
It was only fitting that the shoes missed Bush — a farewell tribute to his misguided leadership; I can’t wait until that idiot is finally out of office!
too bad he missed the fool.
