Reporter Throws His Shoes at Bush

December 15th, 2008

Reporter throws his shoes at Bush. Saying that he was angry over the deaths of women and children at the hands of U.S. military personnel, a reporter for a Baghdad TV station hurled his shoes at President Bush Sunday, barely missing Bush, who was in the middle of a news conference with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. “This is a farewell kiss, you dog,” Muntadar al-Zeidi yelled in Arabic as he hurled his shoes at Bush. “This is from the widows, the orphans and those who were killed in Iraq.” Al-Zeidi, identified as television correspondent, was wrestled to the ground by members of the crowd. “So what if the guy threw a shoe at me?” said Bush, who narrowly missed being hit in the head. “If you want the facts, it was a size 10,” he joked. He continued with jokes later aboard Air Force One, when he quipped, “I didn’t know what the guy said but I saw his `sole, ” The Associated Press reported.

Though the military has killed a good handful of civilians it is still nothing compared to the killings that Saddam has inflicked to his own people. He used a chemical weapon (WMD) on his own people for christ sacks. I am not at all excusing the reason why we went to war. SOME OF YOU AND PRESIDENT BUSH ARE NO DIFFERENT
You want the US to intervine with the genocides in Africa, but yet we would have to wage the same type of war in order to do so, because of there soverienty. The only difference between changing the government in Iraq and changing the government (ex. Sudan), is that Iraq has oil. Iraq is a member of Opec if we get its government to turn into a democratic allay we could possibly get oil alot cheaper. That was the thought process of President Bush fueled by %?*? Chaneys propraganda.

They were slow as hell to move. I hope that Pres.-elect Obama picks his own security. Funny and ridiculous at the same time. Good reflexes W. LOL!!!

When you do dirt and treat hard working americans like shi…………….. and treat them as if their beneath you, take care of other countries instead of AMERICA first, you may just get the slow react from secret services:

On that NOTE, OBAMA is the total opposite of BUSH, he’s intelligent and smart and give a damm; putting AMERICA interest and needs FIRST, so he will be fine with secret services because they know they are protecting a decent and good president who actually care about america and their self’s and families!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LadyofWisdom Said on

I agree PENNIE:

David, should have been there to protect his all mighty god and got hit straight smack in the fuc………forehead, knocking him striaght the fuc….out!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe the impact of the man’s shoes would have given David some intelligence and brains when he awaken, so he could actually think for a change!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Arreba Said on

LOL: that is hilarious; I think the Secret Service DID protect the President quite well…they knew that Bush had quick reflexes, so they let him handle it from there…lol

That guy is a hero, even if he missed. Bush should not have been there anyway. Those people have suffered enough. That shows how arrogant and devilish he his. He is the most hated President in the world.GO HOME TO YOUR RACIST COMMUNITY MR PRESIDENT………….

gladone Said on

That guy has represented the feelings of the world , the Iraqis and many American citzens.
There shoulds be more, for here is a man who is responsile for “war crimes and atrocities against mankind” and he is about to ride off into the sunset with out being tried and punished.
for americans he has devastated their economy.
He has promised to make the UN erelevant.
He is responsible for more american soldiers death than in WW11, unnecessary and counting……….

He needed a better farewell than 2 shoes, he needs a boot up the “farewell”

God does not sleep.

Tom Said on

This reporter just don’t get it had he done this throw a shoe at Saddam he would have been beheaded and his family would have paid a terrible price. Some people just don’t know how to deal with freedom.

LadyofWisdom Said on

I couldn’t have said it better Truth, that man had enough guts to do what millions of people wanted to do anyway!!!!!!!!!!!

Bush don’t CARE about all the millions of troops who lost their lives and fought endlessly for our country that lived in United States, so what makes you think he give a dam about Baghdad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

these comments are a clear reason why bet should stay out of journalism. some of the least introspective, prefer to be non-informed perspectives are continually expressed by their readers. i come here from time to time hoping for an insightful point of view and i am steadily dissapointed. my only hope is that the majority of you who left comments are 15 years or younger. I can always hope anyways.
