I think that everyone is making mountains out of molehills. Seriously, who uses the term “Negro,” “Colored” or any outdated racial names? This is about political differences. Personally I don’t care for songs with changed lyrics. Sure the song “Barack the Magic Negro” does and will offend some, especially those who are too sensative. This is what I think, this racisim needs to stop! Now you voted for Bush and you see what he got you in. Now you regret you ever voted for him. Now give this man a chance and stop acting ignorant. It doesn’t matter what color you are. The only difference in you and him is the color of your skin, that’s all. Put yourself in his shoes. Would you like someone being mean to you because of the color of your skin, something that you have no control over? How would you feel if that was your son or family member, that people made fun of in a mean way because of the color of his or her skin. Being racist only shows how ignorant a person really is. Color does not matter. If you don’t know that by now, then guess what? You have issues that you need to work on. That black man or whatever race you want to call him, just might be the one who makes a difference in you and your family’s life. He could even increase the chances of you affording to pay for your child or children’s college. He could even be the one who saves that elderly family member by allowing him or her to recieve the coverage he or she needs, whether it’s medication or facility assistance. When the man of your same color made it hard for you because he was a racist and only wanted to help the wealthy. Now we all know that majority of the US is no where near wealthy. All the families who are struggling are not all black. So now you see color doesn’t matter. We have a good portion of US families who are struggling now to make ends meet. You may be apart of one of those families who is trying to make ends meet. So now you see the one who was racist, turned on you and you are the same color. So now you see the color of your skin doesn’t matter it’s what’s on the inside that counts. Let’s tell the truth, it time to let this racist stuff go. Let’s get a new way of thinking and a peace of mind. We are in this together. The color of someone’s skin doesn’t matter. Think about this. What if you were that person you were dawging out just because of the color of their skin. Or, better yet what if that was your child being dawged out because of the color of their skin how would you feel? You would feel terrible, because it’s something you can’t control. So you think about that the next time you are mean to someone because of the color of their skin. How would you feel if that person was you.
