Republicans Put Steele ‘On A Leash’

According to Politico.com Republican Party Chair Michael Steele does not know his place.
The political website reports a heated meeting took place between Steele and some of the Republican leadership in Congress in which Steele was told to keep his nose out of public policy and focus on fundraising.
To make it plain, he “was placed on a short leash, ” according to a Republican aide who was at the meeting.
Steele, the former Lt. Governor of Maryland is the first African-American to run the Republican National Committee.
Political bloggers at BlackVoices are not surprised at all about the way Republicans treat Steele.
Matter of fact there has been rumbling at the start by some GOP officials that Steele will be removed from office if the GOP does not do well in the 2010 elections.
The FreshXpress blog asks if Steele a classic example of when “keepin’ it token goes wrong,” or is he a competent politician who is simply being undermined by his own party?
Pretty good question to ask.

Michael Steel has finally realized that his time is up. He lost and now it’s time for him to figure out where he is going to build a platform. He might want to try another planet. I hear the place is wide open!
Does this man realize he is not wanted by the Confederate Party ? It is situations like this that cause me to wonder why the hell would any black person want to be a republican.I’m waiting for Steele to wake up and resign from the party by saying that republicans are racist.

The Birthers , Seceders , and Tea Party , Tells Steele To Jump and He Says How High Master , Such a House Negro ! Steele Please Get Some Dignity !

put his foot–well you know the rest. I have no tears for Michael Steele, he was brought in to challenge the President because they did not want to be
accused of racism. So they paid him handsomely to whip up on the President, only problem is he can’t politically fight, the President kick his
butt verbally and they said if you can’t beat the President then sell our
Republican agenda but keep your mouth shut about the problems in our
party. BOY! Steele ” I am not a boy I’m a man” Republicans “that may be true
but you are being PAID to be our BOY”.
