This is the last movie Bernie Mac made before he passed away. I hope that we can all come together and celebrate the man’s life instead of putting the focus on someone who’s trying to get some money. If the man is owed some money, pay him and let’s move on. I can’t wait to see Bernie Mac in action!

The movie was about sam&dave,untill the producer snapped.And realized that he would have to pay the man some money.

I have not seen the movie yet, but it do sound like the producers are
walking a thin line. You here a duo group call soul men who’
come to mind, when it come to soul music Sam & Dave.
Their way before before my time (Sam & Dave), and when I heard about
the movie that’s who I thought the movie was about. But I still look
so foward to this movie to see Sam Jackson & the late great Bernie Mac
and Isiac Hayes, seeing Sam & Ernie together sould be a blast…

Why when celebs die, a movie comes out afterwards? I can’t understand this. N-E Wayz I can’t wait for this movie to come out.

Why when a celeb dies a movie follows their death? This been on my mind for a while. N-e wayz I can’t wait for the movie to come out.

If this is a likeness then its fine, however, it seems that instead of understanding that he is being paid homeage to his talent, he wants money. Must not have saved any monies when he was singing and therefore needs the money to sustain his life. How sad, if the wants some of the royalties then please pay this man a lump sum and then let all of us CELEBRATE “Bernie” without all this financial drama!

I hate it when people STEAL other people’s life and/or stories. People who have never had anything stolen from them don’t understand. This producer knows he’s taken this man’s life. Just like he wants to get paid, so does the person who actually lived the life…hello. It’s enough money to pay this man his due check. Just remember MR. PRODUCER, what goes around, comes around…just keep living.

seems to me…if the shoe fits, wear it. I’m sure that there are a LOT of groups/duos that can look at this movie and see a whole lot of similar things to their lives. Sam cannot deny that his life was “WAY out there.” I haven’t seen the movie, but must admit that I thought that I saw a parody of myself in one of the commercials on TV! If Sam didn’t have General Joyce pushing him, he wouldn’t even bother to pursue this.

Sounds like Joyce and Sam Moore are at it again. Are they still fighting with Billy Preston’s family? Do they really work for anything? He whined at the President for using one of his songs during campaigning. Probably cheesing now. He should take the $1K offer and a chance to appear. A little stroking for a little ego.
