I am not an American neither has the voting right for either Obama and Mcain. As a white British citizen, I believe that America will be making a big mistake if they are to bypass Barack Obama as their next president.

The guy is well educated, intelligent and well grounded and I think that is what you want in a leader and he also embodied the 21st century new world. Mcain they told us is a good man but Bush we were told is also a good man few years ago and that you can have a beer with but after 8 years, I wonder if that statement still make sense. I can’t see the different between Mcain and Bush/Cheney. The same old generation that win election by frightening people to believe that without them, America will disappear.

They said Mcain is a war hero, therefore should be president, American has rewarded him enough with a good life in the senate for past 30 years. Is he really a war hero or a crap pilot? Since when does being captured in a war made a soldier a hero? War heroes like king David, Alexander the great are not war hero because they were captured in a war. In fact in the days when soldiers are real soldiers, a soldier will rather take his own life than to be captured, so I don’t buy Mcain story of a war hero for the past 40 years because he was short down by hand guns.

Mcain is part and parcel of what I called the axis of American petrol dictators, they profit from the sweat and blood of the world, no wonder they are sponsoring his ambition. I wish America will look beyond myopic politics of divide and race. Experience doesn’t come with age, experience comes with life and intelligent. J.F Kennedy and Bill Clinton has proved that age is not a barrier to becoming a great president.
