Adrienne…to assume that black people are voting for Obama just because he’s black is not giving black people too much credit. And, if there are some people that are voting for him because he’s black so what. There are plenty of people that won’t vote for him because he’s black. People weren’t allowed to vote for YEARS because of their skin being black. People couldn’t drink from a water fountain because of being black. People got lynched for being black. So, if some black people want to vote for this man because he’s black, oh well. And, even if color is the leading factor people are happy to see someone that looks like them finally in the white house.

I watch both parties speeches this past two weeks. I felt like Obama/Biden talked a little more about the issues although they were not specific enough. I thought Mcain/Palin focus more on attacking Obama character then the issues. We must remember that whoever is President works for all Americans and you should choose one that has a track record of doing so.

SPortster please get you story right. McCain did get medical attention he just get the kind you would get if you were at you own military hospital. No did not say he was a hero but being a hero does not make you qualified to be the President of the United States. There are lot more people who where POW then just McCain and you do not see them running for President.

It boils down to who can keep America safe at home and abroad, who can change the economy for the better and not the worst, who can help with the energy and oil crisis that American and the world face, who can help with healthcare, who can help keep jobs in American instead of sending them overseas. Who is best for America now.

OBAMA/BIDEN THATS WHO

An agent of change? Come On now. The only reason why the republicans are even supporting John McCain is because Obama (as always) knew exactly what the American public needs and ran as the original candidate of change. None of the republicans, up until recently even backed McCain’s run for the office.
Everyone from Rush Limbaugh to Sean Hannity hated McCain and his politics until they saw him whip every GOP candidate that ran against him. You know why he won? he was a “change” candidate. But the question is was it really change that we can believe in? If we dismiss his 26 years in politics, then YES!
If we dismiss the fact that even though during his speech he denounced the present administration as a failure and the reason for the lost of respect and trust of his party, he still voted with George W. Bush over 90% of the time, then YES!
If we dismiss his desire to occupy a country indefinitely when that country insists upon us leaving within (Obama’s timetable of) 16 months, then YES! If we disregard the fact that he choose winning and politics above country by selecting a VP who was virtually unknown (even by members of his own party just hours before their convention) and was not even fully vetted and stands within a heart beat of the presidency, then YES!
The real question, no matter how the GOP tries to spin it is about judgment. But, its not John McCain’s judgment I’m concerned about. Its ours, the voters. You can say what you want about Senator Obama, no experience; Eloquent speaker; inspiring hope in the hopeless, but one thing you can’t say is that he is not an agent for change. How does McCain stand up and declare that he’s a maverick, an agent for change, different from the other republicans, when he stood with their chief republican, (George W. Bush) and supported him over 90% of the time? How do you do that? How do you spend your whole acceptance speech running down your resume instead of addressing the problems that confront the average American. Maybe its because he’s not “an Average American”. Average Americans don’t own so many homes that they don’t know how many they have when asked. Yeah, I guess John McCain is change that we can believe in if you change the definition of the word “change”!

MCAIN IS A JOKE, AND HIS VICE PRES. IS TO, I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO VOTE, SO WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENT, I COULDN’T TAKE FOUR YRS OF THIS, AND I HOPE NO ONE WILL TO. SO PLEASE, EVERYONE BODY MAKE HISTORY AND VOTE FOR OBAMA, BECAUSE WE NEED A CHANGE.

I urge people to take this man and his running mate seriously, this is why the Dems have lost the last couple of elections, we grasp onto a candidate and we are so engrossed in them that we don’t pay attention to the other guy catching up and taking over, it is relevant that you look at both sides, so that you can have a good idea of the strategy of the other person, you cannot just look at everything Obama and ignore the other guy, this is how we get caught off guard, lets be universal so that we can be well informed, do not depnd on the blogs because everything that is written on the blog is not true and can be very misleading. Just a word of advice, history says it all 2 democratic presidents in 24 years. Let’s not sleep on this and take these people as jokes, they know how to rally their base.

Obama is just another dumb nlgger who don’t know his backend from his mouth.

Coons are only voting for him because he is black. The whites will not let him win. Blacks are only 12% of population. Whites will come out on election day in the millions to make sure this $$~$ doesn’t win. lol I am Puerto Rican and I’m going for McCain just as many other hispanics. McCain/Palin 08/12

Chris,
What can I say to you that would have any bearing? Its obvious that you’re an uneducated redneck, probably mad at the world because you were born white, with all the advantages of “whiteness” in this country. You probably have always been taught and have always felt that you were superior to people of color and especially black people and then one day after gym class you happened to get in the shower with some black guys and your little white supremacist world began to unwind. Ever since then, you have been trying to convince yourself of something that you really thought you believed….that you were better! You purchased the biggest guns you could buy, but it didn’t change the fact that you still had a little ?@$@?. you bought the biggest truck on the car lot and put the biggest tires on it that you could find and hung the biggest confederate flag imaginable on it, but you still have a little ?@$@?. You married the prettiest girl in school, got the best college education that money can buy; and went to work for one of the best companies around…but you still had a little prick.
You’re probably married to a wife that doesn’t love you and have kids that don’t respect you and your neighbors think you’re weird and to top it all off…you still have a little ?@$@?. So, as a last resort, out of sheer desperation you get on a black blog this morning and what do you do? You resort to name calling. I guess in your frustrated, insecure, easily threatened little mind you thought, “If I do this it will restore my need to feel superior, but then after you submitted your little racist comments, you suddenly felt the urge to urinate and you jumped up, ran to the bathroom and guess what?……You’re still a little ?@$@?!

Gary In Pismo Said on

To the rest of you, I apologize but Chris needed to be checked with all that N- word stuff he did. I don’t normally respond to ignorance like that but sometimes you just gotta get down where it goes down.

How can you promote change when you and your candidate for vice president cant get their plans flowwing on the same issues as (Obama) its sound like (McCain) is trying to use the method that was officially set by the democrat party was that (Hillary) would be his running mate in the 08 elections .People are still looking at her like O my God she is a mother and a future grandmother and she having problems just like any other ordinary family , what makes her special in this matter she a natural woman that talk about the next candidate as if she a saint . I dont think we need another (republican) ruining everything that (bush) has already promised and after (2 terms in office) there has not been no sort of change yet to come . When is AMERICA going to wake-up and smell the politics and read in-between the line these people are not meaning america any good at all so why are we backing-up our own type of (Terrorist) no! they are not from afgan anymore they are here in the United States of America and they call their selves leaders of tommorrow……….

Terry Said on

I just hope the the big O does not turn out to be a Phoney…I like him but?????

sadie Said on

The Pharisees (republicans) are still trying to pull the wool over the eyes of the American public. Now they have this woman, an outsider, a good reader of sarcastic verbage (by the way the speech was written by a speech writer) as a running mate for Senator McCain. (I will not disrespect the position of Vice President by mentioning her name). How scared they seem. Why can’t people see Senator Obama for what he is, a great man with a great vision to lead our country to greatness. Yes he is black, but more importantly, he is right for our country. If the American people don’t vote for him, that would be a horrible shame, because the only reason, would obviously be, because of his color.

Right is right and wrong is wrong and Right ain’t never wronged anyone.

I pray that those who are thinking about voting with their hearts and minds out weigh those who are voting with their ignorance.

God Bless America!!!!

Anna Said on

I CAN READ A SPEECH SOMEONE WROTE FOR ME CAN I RUN FOR VP TOO?

LARRY D. SHEPHARD Said on

THE ONLY THING THAT WOULD CHANGE IF MCCAIN BECAME PRESIDENT WOULD BE THE NAME OF THE PRESIDENT.

Melissa Said on

What is really disappointing is that McCain chose this woman only to get Hillary’s votes no on her record. And some of these women are thinking about changing their votes. What kind of loyalty is that, here Hillary worked this hard and long to get 18 million cracks and the Hillary followers are going to give it to someone who wasn’t even a part of the cracks. Unbelievable. But as far as the election, please everyone get out and vote, because they will throw all and anything negative against Obama, ain’t that right Fox News.
