Senator Apologizes Over Foot in Mouth

Jim Bunning scrambled Monday to clean up for his seemingly cold-blooded prognosis of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. “I apologize if my comments offended Justice Ginsburg,” the two-term Kentucky Republican said in a statement. “That certainly was not my intent.” The former Major League pitcher said Saturday that Ginsburg, who recently underwent surgery to remove a small tumor, has “bad cancer. The kind that you don’t get better from,” the Courier-Journal of Louisville reported. “Even though she was operated on, usually, nine months is the longest that anybody would live” with pancreatic cancer. The 75-year-old justice was back in court Monday, less than three weeks after her affliction was made public. “It is great to see her back at the Supreme Court today and I hope she recovers quickly,” the 77-year-old Bunning said. “My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.” Bill Clinton appointed Ginsburg to the high court in 1993. She is the only woman on the U.S. Supreme Court. If Ginsburg or another justice were to leave the court, President Barack Obama would be responsible for naming her successor, who would be subject to Senate confirmation.

I think all the people that have a problems with our prez or black peoples in general, need to check out who invented everyday things that we use. Neverly all the things we use on a daily basis was invented by a black person(not a person of color but a black inventer). For instance stop light, iron, inside of light bulbs,combs,hair brushes,parts of the car,and the list gone on. So people like Rush L shouldn’t be using these & surely it wouldn’t be able to leave his house he wouldn’t be able to dress him self.
So all you people that have a problem with black folks need to have a BLACK HISTORY LESSON.

Another God-Loving, People-hating, Right-wing Conservative Republican showing us all why they have no business whatsoever in charge of this country. Every time one of them opens their mouth we hear nothing but hateful, bitter, racist comments. I don’t know what church most republicans attend but the Jesus that they claim to be their Lord and Savior is far different then the one in my Bible. He’s compassionate in my Bible. He’s concerned about those who are poor and unable to help themselves in my Bible. He only looked down his nose to pick up someone who was down and out in my Bible. He gave so that others (who in no way deserved it) might live in my Bible. Maybe that’s it. The next republican that you see maybe we should give them a Bible and tell them to not just read it and quote it but live it.

I’ve read all the blogs on this site as well as the original article (Senator Bunning) and I dont see where anyone is dissing African Americans.
