so in order to prove a point that black is equal to white and blacks deserve the same rights that whites have, he is supporting boycott. doesn’t make too much sense. that is basically letting the whites know that nothing has changed and they still are superior. i myself am not saying so, but that’s how the message comes across to me. i think they should go to school and not care about the negativity, show their strength

Just another publicity grabbing move by a “Race Pimp”.

Maybe if these “self appointed” black leaders would go after the root of the problems then good number of the ills in the community would probably disappear. If they went after the parents (called out mothers, not just fathers) and media outlets (like Viacom) then the coonery and buffoonery would stop.

But they do not have the balls, they do not want to upset their fan base, nor they they want to make sugar daddy “media” mad.

“Self Appointed” black leaders, aka race/religious pimps will keep doing these stunts because the rest of the black community is content to sit back and allow it to happen and they simply tell people want they want to hear (instead of offering solutions and trying them out.)

Then again, I guess it is easier to point the finger at someone else (i.e. no good black men or Uncle Charlie) then it is to actually do some reflection and root out the problem, because we all know that requires work and effort…

I agree with Seschris, keeping our kids out of shcool is not the answer.
We must also have strong participation and concentration on teaching
our kids at home, yes we demand and expect the teachers to do their job
but they are not 100% responsible for educating our kids…….
It take a village to raise a child………………

If these people want “equal” educational opportunities for their children, all they have to do is MOVE TO A NEIGHBORHOOD THAT OFFER THE TYPE OF SCHOOLING YOU WANT FOR YOUR CHILDREN.

The marching and boycotts of the 60s were needed because children were not allowed to attend THE (better) SCHOOLS IN THEIR OWN NEIGHBORHOODS just because of race.

That’s not what we’re seeing today.
