February 10th, 2009Former NFL Star Posts Bond in Coke Bust Jamal Anderson, the former star running back for the Atlanta Falcons who was allegedly caught snorting coke in the men’s room of a bar on Sunday, has been released from jail. He was arrested after a patron told an off-duty officer that there was illicit drug use going on in the bathroom. The officer said he looked through a crack in the stall at the Peachtree Tavern and found Anderson and another man, Mark Daniel Hudson, sniffing powder cocaine from the toilet tank top. Anderson, 36, and Hudson, 20, were arrested and booked into the Fulton County Jail. running back Jamal Anderson was released from jail Sunday night following his arrest earlier in the day after an off-duty police officer witnessed him snorting cocaine in the men’s room of a Buckhead bar, Atlanta police said. Jail spokeswoman Tracy Flanagan said Anderson was released on $6,000 bond shortly after 8 p.m. Sunday. Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard intends to charge Anderson and consented to the bond, according to the bond order. Charges against Hudson were dismissed Monday morning.
