January 20th, 2009Miami Heat Star’s Divorce Gets Nasty Miami Heat star guard Dwyane Wade’s divorce from his high school sweetie is about as bitter as it could get. In the latest nasty twist, Siohvaughn, whom Wade married six years ago, claims that her husband not only left his kids and cheated on her, but he gave her a sexually transmitted disease. In a counter suit to Dwyane’s May 2007 divorce petition, Siohvaughn is seeking an undisclosed amount of Wade’s $14.4 million salary and the names of ”all of his sexual partners” during their marriage. In a statement, Dwyane’s attorney, James Pritikin, said: “These malicious allegations are absolutely false and we look forward to the opportunity to dispute them in court.” Dwyane, 27, has two boys – Zaire, a first-grader who will be 7 next month, and Zion, 1 – with Siohvaughn, who moved back to Chicago with the kids last year. In addition to his salary, according to court papers, Dwyane earns millions more from major endorsements such as Gatorade and Converse; he also has a dozen vehicles, including four Cadillacs, four Mercedes-Benzes and a Maybach. He has been linked romantically to actress Gabrielle Union, 36, who once married to former Jacksonville Jaguar Chris Howard. In her court pleadings, Siohvaughn says: “Dwyane has dissipated substantial sums of marital property including . . . buying his mother a $2 million church; placing substantial sums of money in an account with another woman; providing numerous friends and family members with unfettered access to accounts with hundreds of thousands of dollars of marital funds from which they made substantial withdrawals . . .. ” He also cut her off financially, she says. Dwyane’s attorney said in a statement, “It is sad that an obviously angry and bitter woman will go to any lengths to publicly damage Mr. Wade.”
I SEE THIS IS A PLACE THAT LOVES D Wade. Get real if this was you, you would do the same thing. D has been with lots of women when they were together and apart. I see this bunch has the dream of change in their eyes. D cheated, D got STDs, D gave the STDs to his wife and sweetheart from High School, I am sure D gave STDs to a lot of women. But you keep prizing him as a God. In time you will see where that gets you and you alone will have to pay that debit.
we all know a lot of these athletes carryin std’s because they have no self control. they’re no different than the average person except for the groupie excess which give them these diseases and help spread it around. That’s what happens when you get married without a prenupt. You have to look at marriage as a partnership that’s both personal and business.
Must we forget that this was his highschool sweet heart and she was probably there when he had little or no money so she is intitled. She has put up with his lying,cheating and std’s. so the least he can do is make sure that her and his kids are taken care of even if that means that he give her half . you dont know what its like to be cheated on by someone that you took vows with if it never happened to you,but lets just pray that they settle this matter for the benefit of their kids. god bless

First off the men would make those comments; they were together since he was in high school that is before he became a star. Now if they had just got married then of course but six years, come on. Men dont understand that the games they play with our emotions and feelings no amount of money can undo, while she was taking care of his kids he was out doin him. Before all the fame they were a Christian couple in love…and then he got famous and the rest is history. I belive he gave her and STD, I sure hope Gabrielle aint the casue…lol…Besides if he has money to invest with another female, and have your family coming taking large sums of money out of the ATM what makes them any better than the woman you took your vowels with six years ago….Break her off something to and you wouldnt be giong to court….
I heard all the rumors about Dwade and al his “women” but I was told to believe only half of what you see and none of what you hear. They also said he was messingw ith Star Jones but that just never made sense to me but who knows. In the entertainment business anything is possible. I just hope they get themslves together for the sake of their children. Only she and Dwade know what really happend.
