Actually Steele is a FOOL for being a reoublican,however what he said about Rush is TRUE but him being a spineless uncle tom he backed down and kissed Rush’sbutt like a PUNK. I would agree with most of you. M. Steele let the Republicans use him to say that our party has embraced blacks and the poor. You can see that this is not the case. The more Obama pushes his plan to go forward the republicans do everything they can to complain and wine. They were mimes the entire time Bush was in office because they turned into fat rats. Now that the flow of cash will slow down, not even stop thats the funny part ; they are so out raged to see the poor finaly getting a crumb from the table. This situation is sickning. Oh yeah do not get attached to any party, vote for your best interest.

What have the Republicans done for blacks in the past 15 years? Is this current GOP one that you are proud of (with Uncle Steele and Druggie Limbaugh as representatives) and think that blacks should believe in? Did it not scare you that Sarah Palin was so close to the White House as VP to John McCain (an ancient clone of Bush) ? As I recall during the entire last presidential campaign republicans catered to whites (rich, rednecks and even poor trash) while they totally ignored the black vote. I didn’t get any phone calls or literature soliciting my support from the republicans. Oh yeah they did have that house Negro James. T. Harris (radio idiot) groveling on national television on the GOP’s behalf. It’s obvious that the GOP don’t care about blacks so who do you suggest blacks get behind?

Just Asking, I am just telling. It is not a matter of what the democrates has done for African Americans, we can do for ourselves, we don’t need handouts but we will not allow republicans to impugn anything that is and has been progressive to us(i.e.Civil Rights) or human rights (our share of the pie) which the repubs seem to have no interest in when it comes to black
people. Also eight of those 15 years was BUSH. By the way there is a democrate that is trying to save homes, create jobs, get us health care,
credit lines etc. and his name is OBAMA AND HE IS A DEM. I just saying!

For justask, not a da@n thing, the dems or the repigs haven’t did nothing for the AA’s. We go out and fight for justice and still no results. Now that we have a AA as President yes i do expect him to help change these bias laws against AA’s. We deserve a piece of america as well. If I am not mistaken, most old school Caucasian male Republicans used to be Democrats. They joined the Republican Party after theCivil Rights Act was signed in 1965 if I remember correctly? In other words, when our people; Black folks got their rights to vote, they largely joined the Democratic Party. It was then that the majority of old school Caucasian male/female Democrats jumped ship to the Republican Party. So this is what I have been told, I will check it out more thoroughly. However, President Lincoln was a Republican, and he did free the Slaves. It is quite credible that that the Caucasians who were against Slaves being free would not want to be in the party that Lincoln was in. So them being Democrats; until the Civil Rights Act was signed into Law is very credible to me.
