Tanzanian Soldiers Beat Up Policeman?
Upset because he had stopped their convoy at a roadblock, a group of eight Tanzanian soldiers allegedly beat up one of the nation’s traffic cops, reports the BBC.  According to witnesses, the group hit the policeman with boots, belts and their fists. A crowd of onlookers were dismayed by the scene, which occurred on a street in Dar es Salaam, and booed the soldiers. Though traffic cops are generally unpopular in the nation for being easily bribed, the residents were still upset at the soldiers’ actions. The officer was taken to the hospital for his injuries.
