Other celebrities handing out the coveted trophies during the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards on Jan. 11 are Gossip Girl Blake Lively, The Dark Knight’s Aaron Eckhart and newly minted CSI lead Laurence Fishburne.

Fishburne boosts “CSI.” Laurence Fishburne has added a boost to the already popular CBS TV drama “CSI.” According to the Hollywood Reporter, when he debuted as the show’s Raymond Langston character, he ushered in CSI’s best numbers. Some 20.6 million people watched the show, earning a 5.7 preliminary rating among adults 18 to 49, according to Neilsen Media Research. Lead-in “Survivor” (13.2 million, 4.1) was up slightly from last week.    “CSI” even helped 10 p.m.’s “Eleventh Hour” (13.4 million, 3.8) draw its best performance ever — and marked the first time the freshman series has won its hour.
