Under the new proposal by the jail administrator and jail doctor, inmates will be allowed to get their meds as soon as their prescriptions are verified, The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

No criminal charges will be issued against Cuyahoga County Jail workers who monitored R&B singer Sean Levert before his death this year.
