Denzel Washington to co-star with Cruise.  Two of Hollywood’s biggest leading men hope to hit the blockbuster jackpot when they appear in a forthcoming movie. The Matarese Circle stars Denzel Washington and Tom Cruise. The pair portrays enemy spies who team up to take on an entire organization. The film is based on a book of the same name by Robert Ludlum. It’s reported that the flick is being positioned by MGM film studio heads to become a franchise of sequels. Ludlum is the same author behind books that inspired Matt Damon’s Bourne films.
