People who live in a predominately Black northeast Tennessee neighborhood say the Ku Klux Klan is trying to force them out. They point to the flood of flyers from the White supremacist organization blanketing the lawns of Greeneville’s Meadowlark Subdivision. One of the flyers is titled “Wake Up White America & Take A Stand”; another is under the banner “10 Steps To A Better America.”  Read the rest.

As the nation is poised to welcome its first African-American president, the Secret Service and other federal, state and local law enforcement officials say they are on high alert for racist groups who would like nothing better than to do harm to Barack Obama and his family.
