OJ, I don’t know him personally, but I will say this he did not have a fair trial. How could he when no one “looked” like him and 5 believed he got a way with murder. How is that fair? What happened 13 years ago was tragic and in the past. I thought you could not be tried for the same crime twice. I guess the law has changed or is it you can do it under a different name. When the jurors went into the jury pool, some of them were hoping to get that case so they could find him guilty. I feel that OJ was unfairly judged! I believe that the jury didn’t consider the robbery only, they were also thinking of the murders and that’s what i believe they based their verdict on! I was not on the jury of any of O.J.’s trials. Whether or not he got away with murder or was innocent of the murders, I don’t know.
Unless someone with an incredible eye for detail along with a photographic memory steps up, claims that he was a witness to the murders which O.J. was exhonerated, demands a polygraph test to prove his or her testimony, and says “O.J. did it!” then I say it’s time that we finally give O.J. the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he is innocent.
As for O.J.’s recent day in court, I hope that the guilty verdict is based on the evidence…and not based on the idea that he was guilty of a murder for which he was found not-guilty. If, in the jury room, he was being re-tried of a 1995 homicide, then what we have here is a miscarriage of justice.

I believe OJ got what he deserved! He was guilty then and he is guilty now. Now, can we all just move on…?

O.J. probably did kill those two people. I dont condone taking anyones life… but it has been happening to black people since the begining of time. Four years ago, my cousin was murdered by five white men. Justice hasnt been served… with that being said, lets move on.

I believe he did the killing 13 years ago and I knew this was going to happen. I knew that he would get into some type of trouble again and what happened years ago would play a big part of his sentence today. I don’t know why they had an all white jury for you know that all white of America thought OJ was guilty of killing his wife and her lover. Justice has not been served. Our judicial system is flawed. We have a double standard in this great country of ours. One for Caucasians and one for people of color, particularly, Blacks/descendants of slaves in America. White men murdered, Emmett Till, and admitted to it via Time Magazine. They sodomized, tortured and bludgeoned him till he expired. Emmett Till’s face was pound to a pulp. An all white jury found these monsters, not guilty. As long as we have all white jury’s judging people of color, the outcome will be the same.

MR OJ SIMSON IS BEING PROSECUTED AND FOND GUILTY FOR A CRIME HE DID NOT COMMIT. I THOUGHT THIS S THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WHERE ONE IS NOT GUILTY UNTILL PROVEN SO; IF SUCH S THE CASE WHY NO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE PERSON THAT STOOD OUT TO STATE THAT HE IS THE ONE THAT MASTERMINDED THE WHOLE THING FROM ON-SET. I watched this trial faithfully every day! I was shocked at the verdict but not surprised. I pray for re-trial.

This was a one-sided decision finding OJ guilty. I watched the interview of the Las Vegas Jurors — they couldn’t keep a straigth face stating “OJ’s first trial didn’t play apart in their verdict.” How could you not take into consideration that OJ didn’t know of anyone having guns, and two that news companies such as Entertainment Tonight and others who paid for this setup, that the jurors throw-out the witnesses testimonies. I truly believe that the juror’s makeup — they could find not one black to serve on this juror. This is just a sick!!!!! I truly hope that the next trial will deal with all the evidences and not turn a blind ear to the facts in that case. I pray for OJ’s safety in jail.

First of all, before you stated that the Black community are too smart to believe OJ was innocent. Now, you don’t care what everyone is saying?? Stick to one opinion…this is just an example of your propensity of denying things.
I didn’t read the story about some random study because i am not on here everyday. My point is that there are also many other studies that completely contradict that one. You know this. A study is just that…research usually with one outcome in mind. The stats from the Justice Dept. is not a study remember…they are compiled numbers of convictions, and arrests…hard numbers. Plus, there are many, many cases that turn cold because they didn’t find the perps…so, said stats could be even worse towards young Black men if all of the crimes were ’solved.’ Why can’t you wrap your mind on the fact that the most violent crimes occur in the inner cities (usually of the relatively larger cities in the US). Black men commit most of the crimes in the aforementioned areas…so, is it too far fetched to believe the unbiased numbers given by the Justice Dept?????????????? NO, I THOUGHT NOT.
