I didn’t know him, but when I saw the video it just broke my heart and I still cry everytime I hear the story. I don’t even know what to say, I mean how can you kill somebody and not feel anything. They could have spared his life, I mean to keep hurting somebody when they lay motionless..just shows me how evil those boys were.. I feel sorry for the mothers of the men that killed Derrion because no matter what ..a mom loves is never ending. I pray for Derrion spirit will be with God always and all murder victims that lives were cut short. I pray for the family and sister because I have a brother and I could not imagine losing my brother..R.I.P Lil Angel

It’s unbelievable what these youth consider being DOWN, what’s even more disappointing is that the parents of these monster don’t see anything wrong, even now that we are all mourning a shortened life, has anyone spoke to the parents? and if so, I’m almost positive that she or they will say “I never seen my son be violent with anyone” It’s sad but it’s true, Thank You Very Much and my thoughts and prayers for the family of Derrion Albert.

THEY SHOULD FELL FOR HIS FAMILY BECAUSE IF IT HAPPEND TO ONE OF THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS THEY WOULD BE DEVESTADIED .

When will the dumb gang violence stop? Too many young children is dying due to this foolishness. There is innocent lives being taken because of stupid actions by stupid people. My heart really goes out to this boy family who have to deal with the loss of their child life. And to think that he had nothing to do with what was going on at the time, all he was doing was going home. It is really stupid when you can be murdered over the color you are wearing…. People need to stand up and put a stop to this violence. Stop sitting back and doing nothing.

thats messed up how people be losing their lives over DUMB ~#?? he was only 16 years old and he died because of mistaken identity when are people going to relize its really not worth it because the people that do the killing eventually u WILL get caught so what is the ?~#%$*@ point of doing it

My prayers go out to Albert’s family and friends because this is such a sad situation. He was an innocent person at the wrong place, wrong time so this is very sad.

Rest in Peace Derrion Albert, 16 from Chicago and Kevin Miller, 13 from Queens Village, NY. Miller’s mother, Donna Greaves, said her son was killed while heading to McDonald’s with money she gave him as a reward for getting good grades and doing his chores. He came across a group of youths fighting.

Miller was a high school freshman and a junior usher at his church.

It is always sad to lose someone but all you can do now is just to think of the good times. I didnt know you my young bro but i have much respect R.I.P.

I am a single mother of two boys one 16 and the other 11. I have instealed in them Respect and Love meaning everyone and most of all yourself. I feel if u love yourself you do no harm that you would’nt want to happen to u. My heart goes out to this family it sounds like they did their part on raising a great young man who was headed for a great future. The sad part is that someone can just rip away a life feeling no consiquance. These boys who did such a horrible , Terrible act couldnot have total thought of how that day was going to end for them as well.How will they be remembered. Derrion’s life left this earth leaving a message for all of us to hear its time for us all to step up to the plate and say we are tired and refuse to lose anymore lives to ignorance and violence.

The violence, hatred and killing is a result of past generations that were labeled failures, that were not given a chance to blossom. Change the culture of the communities, instill pride in each child in school, and we will change the future.
