Reality TV temptress and Internet vixen Tila Tequila says that NFL star Shawne Merriman lied to police Sunday morning when he said that he tried to prevent her from driving away from his house party because she was drunk and out of control. In fact, Tequila told police, she is allergic to alcohol and can’t drink. Tequila, whose real name is Tila Nguyen, called police to report that Merriman, an All-Pro linebacker for the San Diego Chargers, had choked her and restrained her as she tried to leave his home following the party late Saturday. When police arrived, a statement read, “the reporting party identified herself as Tila Nguyen, aka Tila Tequila, and her alleged assailant as Shawne Merriman.” Merriman was taken into custody on suspicion of battery and false imprisonment, the Sheriff’s Department statement said. Merriman’s attorney, Todd Macaluso, denied the charges against his client, contending that Nguyen was “extremely intoxicated and inebriated” and that Merriman merely tried to make arrangements for her to leave the house. But Nguyen, who starred in MTV’s “A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila” and its follow-up, “A Shot at Love 2 With Tila Tequila,” tweeted to her followers, “I am allergic to alcohol. It has been publicly known for years. That is how I got the name Tila ‘Tequila’ cuz the irony. I can’t drink.” She also tweeted that she was safe at home in Los Angeles and thanked fans for their concern and support, CNN reports.
What??? That b@£th is lying. I saw both of her shows and she was drinking the bar up on both of them. Men, men, men! Especially black men. Take this and learn from it. They messing up your reps left and right because of this hit! C’mon now!
Yeah…whatever she says….but she was on TWITTER tweetin about how messed up she was and how they were getting ready to go back to him house. A pair of lips will say anything. It’s three sides to every story…his side…her side….and GOD’s side (the truth)…..it will all come out sooner or later.

She’s demonstrated on live tv that she will do anything with a pulse. She has the morals of an alley cat and no self respect or diginity. Women, men, dogs, cats, birds, whatever she’ll do you. She has no class and is totally out of control so her word is basically “unreliable”. She’s just plain nasty. Besides he is innocent until proven guilty in the US!

I have watched Tila Tequila’s show and she is out there! She is trashy and she does drink. Why she is lying about drinking is beyond me. And she does get drunk. I saw her in an L.A. club and she was putting down some drinks. I was amazed that she can drink so much as tiny as she is. I am pretty sure Shawne was trying to keep her from driving, because when I saw her in the club, she drove to the club but her friends had to take her home. She could barely walk, so I don’t blame Shawne for trying to save her from crashing her car or killing herself and someone else on the street. With all the witnessess at the party, Shawne will not be charged with assault. Shawne stay away from Tila because she is nothing but trouble and you don’t need that..

I think she’s lying! I could have sworn I’ve seen her with a drink in her hand, the couple of times I’ve seen her show. I’ve heard of people being allergic to alcohol, but not all alcohol. I’ve heard of people being allergic to certain ingredients in certain types of alcohol. Is she allergic to barley, hops…what? I have a friend that’s allergic to everything…except alcohol (somehow); and he can drink anyone under the table!

Her show was a flop, so she had to do something to keep her name in tha game, everytime a brother’s name and salary cap go to tha media here comes the blue eye devil, but i dont feel sorry for him either, for tha simple fact she’s like a community center everybody is WELCOME, and he could have just hit it and send her ass own her way, he also could have called a car service for her to be drop off, and still in all its football season and is name is in some bullsh!t.
