If he has not already done so then Gupta needs to get educated on the true state of healthcare in America and deal with it accordingly if he is to do a good job in this position. He could start his research by watching Michael Moore’s documentary “SICKO”.

I think Sanjay Gupta is an excellent choice. I used to watch him when I lived in the ATL and he is very knowledgeable in the medical area.

BTW, I’m with Jade, David is just seeking attention. Regardless of his race, he is just looking to get everyone riled up. Even if he doesn’t go away once he is ignored, I’m sure he will realize that his comments are just for him.

I wish Dr. Gupta all the luck with the Surgeon General nomination/appt.

good choice in the Doc… David’s right welfare was created for white folk, as was perfume, deodrant, and make-up, and birth control pills… but now they have to share… when blacks started getting it, they changed the rules you couldnt have a man in the house… thus more destruction of the black family structure… we cant forget what slavery did for the black family… NOPE! I am in agreement with the FOR majority for Dr. Gupta. I agree with Sonya and Gemmie as well. President Elect Obama made a very good choice. Isn’t that what we are suppose to do when we want things to work better for the good of our country is to place people of an EXCELLENCE status in our circle. About David, I cannot judge him because I do not know him. But his point of view I can. You know the one about everybody’s got one, well that’s how I judge his point of view.
