Very Strong Words for Bill Clinton
September 27th, 2008

Blogger Paul Slansky’s had harsh words for President Bill Clinton. Read his words below:
Given that we would never have had the odious George W. Bush in the White House in the first place if it wasn’t for your blow jobs, Bill, it seems obvious that you owe it to the people of this country, and especially to the parents whose kids died in the Iraq War that Gore would never have started, and to all the parents whose kids would be killed in the WarFest that would be a McCain/Palin — sorry, Palin/McCain — administration to do everything in your power to get Barack Obama elected. But that’s not what you’re doing, Bill, and it’s not going unnoticed. We see your rage, Bill, it’s too huge to hide. We see that — as Chris Rock so brilliantly pointed out — it pains you to even speak Obama’s name. We see you petulantly rooting against him even as you go through the motions of doing the barest minimum on his behalf to avoid being blamed if he loses. You’re not fooling anyone, Bill. You’ve gotten so caught up in yesterday that you’ve stopped thinking about tomorrow. You have the power to influence millions of voters and you’re spitefully sitting on it. Get the rest of the note here. Do you think he has a point about Clinton?

I agree!!!! I can’t believe it took this long for someone to start talking about this. It is so sad that the clinton’s are acting this way…I will always remember this time in history……what they did’nt do….
i GUESS BET DIDN’T LIKE MY COMMENT! IT IS NEVER ADDED! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT ABOUT>NO FREEDOM IN SPEAKING THE TRUTH! NOT HERE AT BET! BLOCK THAT!
The comment is the harsh truth most people are scared on television. Black people need to wake up and dont loose this opportunity of a life time, is not coming back when we miss it.
IT THE TRUTH!!!!!! US AS BLACK PEOPLE NEED 2 STEP UP 2 DA PLATE N DONT LET A OPPORTUNITY OF A LIFE TYME PASS US BY!!!!!!!!
The Clinton’s are only out for themselves. It appears impossible for this Clinton and the other Clinton to do what is best for the country and put aside their selfish desires. HE lied to the entire world for HIS benefit and penal pleasure. A man who put his country first would have stood up like a man and said yes, I’m a man who had an attraction and took action on it when I shouldn’t have. Instead look at what HE took the entire country through because of his pride and selfish motives.
So here we are again. The Clinton’s didn’t get the white house so they aren’t excited to jump up and down for the Democrats. Instead we get a half hearted attempt to do the minimal.. oh, you should vote for Obama. You know you can tell this is true because if Hilary were on the ticket the CLINTON’S ACTIONS WOULD NOT BE SO SUBDUED. … they’d be jumping up and doing everything in their power to maniuplate the press towards positively portraying Obama, standing up tall and shouting out loud for support, doing everything in their power to fund raise everything they could and pounding the pavement for votes. As I said the CLINTON’S ARE NOT ABOUT WHAT IS BEST FOR THIS COUNTRY.. THEIR MOTIVES ARE SELFISH AND ALWAYS ABOUT WHAT CAN I GET. sooo sad. Thank God whoever wins this election it will be new energy!!!!!!!!
I saw his appearance on David Letterman, and Mr. Slansky’s assessment of Bill Clinton’s behavior is correct. When Chris Rock came on the show (after Clinton), he made the exact comments I was already thinking. It PAINED Bill C. to mention Barack Obama by name. I really don’t understand this, especially since He (Clinton), understands politics, and has to know that someone has to win and someone has to lose. The bottom line is this… BARACK OBAMA is the DEMOCRACTIC CANDIDATE and Hillary Clinton is NOT!!!! GET OVER IT!!!! Slansky is absolutely on point, and I am so glad he called Clinton out. Its time Mr. Clinton pays back all the people who supported him when he ran for President for 2 terms and WON! Had it not been for those supporters he would NOT have won. It’s time he gets his thumb out of his mouth, throw the blanket off his body, get his azz up off the sidelines and GO SUPPORT MR. OBAMA as he said he would. He lied to the country once about Monica, there’s no need to create a reputation as a liar, by looking into the camera (at the DNC), and declaring his support for Senator Obama, only to be proven a liar about that too!
YES WE CAN!!! (And prayerfully with or without the support of Bill & Hillary Clinton!) DAMMIT!
P.S. Did McCain actually say that about Chelsea???? If he did, what nerve!!! I mean the audacity of him to make a comment about ANYBODY’S looks is UNBELIEVEABLE!!! Honestly, has he walked past a mirror lately? Burt Reynolds he certainly is not. Hell, he ain’t even Tiny Tim!!!!! YUCK!!!!!!!!!!
You know what I feel that the media is stirring up nonsense to create the barriers for Barack Obama’s campaign. I do feel that Obama probably learned some very tough lessons in leadership. Sometimes, those who work for you will not like you and you will surely not like them. However, you must realize their silent power of the underdog.
You hit the nail on the head. The Clinton’s have a lot power that Biden will never have. While I support Obama, I am going to vote for him. I do feel as a leader sometimes you have to put the underdog on your team to get the result you want. This is what a true Strategic Leader does. Remember, the second in command is normally the disciplinarian and the one who is detested. I do not think Washington will give any credence to Biden’s politics. I feel Biden got on the ticket so he can bolster himself for 2012.
I think that both family’s have a lot of feelings toward one another. The mature thing for them to have done was put the differences to the side and win the White House.
We are now faced with an unknown that McCain/Palin may just sweep the Electoral Vote. Also, a lot of Democratic Leaders come November 4th are going to swing to the Republican Party. You see we are not in the booth when they vote.
I have lost all the respect that I used to have for Bill Clinton, It’s a sin and a shame that he’s so bitter over Hillary’s defeat by Barack that he refuses to even mention Barack’s name while he’s showing fake support for his campaign…I will remember all of this will Hillary tries to run again in 2012..
i totally agree with Gerald. I was surprised and dissappointed when i saw a resent interview on Larry King Live last week with the “former president”. I expected more praise and support for Obama, but was disappointed when he had to qualify his almost 7-10 mins. of praise for mccain and he might have only gave Obama 4-5 mins of praise and it did look like it pained him to do that!! “daedae” with all due respect u need to let go of what he DID and pay attention to what hes doing now. the CLINTONS are out for self rite now!!! thats the bottom line.
WHAT THE %$?@ ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT. BILL CLINTON DIDN’T HAVE HIS BALL IN NONE OF THAT SHIT.DUE TO IT BEING EIGHT YEARS LATER.
WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THAT IS BULL ~*@$ TO MY EARS. YOU MUST BE WHIT SO STAY THE HELL OFF OF BET.
Yeah, I heard what Bill said about McCain with sadness. Just because Hillary is not the woman on the ticket, does not mean that he shouldn’t vigorously campaign for Obama. He’s even gotten many of his political cohorts not that interested in supporting Obama. However, I don’t really think that it is going to matter.
I watched the debate and Obama did more than hold his own. He knocked the ball out of the park! He outshined McCain. He surprised mcCain with his ability to think quickly and to respond adequately. Some of the major channels commentators want to say that the debate was even. I disagree. Obama squarely reminded people that the debt that we have is due to an ill-advised war that McCain supported and stills support.
Obama should continue to remain calm and smile a little more during the next debates, and to hammer McCain on his outlandish ideas like remaining in Iraq for 100 years and providing tax cuts to the rich.
The media needs to calm down, and not look so jealous. Many of them are jealous that this tall, lanky, sexy black man, who is on the verge of becoming America’s first Black President.
I certainly believe that if we go out to vote in record numbers, that he will win the election. If the ecomony continues to plummet, the majority will realize that McCain is not for them, and therefore, votes for Obama.
Let’s keep HOPE alive! God is in control. Peace.
I am tired of everyone downing the Clinton’s. Barack Obama decided he wanted the job now it is up to him to strategize on how he will win the White House. We are so hypocritical. I use to hear eveyone sing the praises for the Clinton now they are our enemies. Actually, Barack and his team (if they really new about leadership) would understand that sometimes you have to endear yourself to the underdog (who has alot of clout) to be victorious. We all need to do our part. This country is not about who is the President. We all have a part to play. You see we have very well may have loss the White House because of 4 egos: Barack, Michelle, Hillary, Bill. What they should have done was met each other half way buried the bones and got down to business.
Also, I do not see Biden being so supportive either. I do not see him campaigning as hard as he could. I do not see folks talking about that. I feel and sense that Barack in many ways feels defeated. Also, McCain seems to have the attitude like he has it in the bag already.
We need to stop all this divisiveness and understand that the media wants to destroy the Democratic Party. So…what Bill does not want to say Barack’s name.
I get a little tired of uninmformed Blacks claiming that we should be grateful for Bill Clinton’s political benvolence toward our people and that he should be considered the first Black President. Because he played a saxophone, wore shades, smoked reefer, liked somewhat less than beautiful caucasian women and acquired an office in Harlem where the cost is less does not annoint him Black.
If you want ot see the results of Clinton’s politics on the Black community, simply visit the nearest prison and see all of the young Black males serving life sentences for non-violent crimes under Clinton’s “three strikes” law!
It doesn’t surprise me that Bill and Hillary have never really stopped campaigning for her next shot at the presidency. They are heartbroken that a Black was able to undue what was to be a shoe-in for them!
i agree with you too bill get up off your ass now
I agree 100%….I’ve always thought Hilary was a Republican forced to play a Democrat because of Bill and now it seems that Bill has crossed over all because his wife was beat out of the nomination by a black man. Bill needs to suck it up and realize that the Clintons had their time in the White House and now it’s time to get someone in there who will bring about the change that this country so desperately needs and I think we all know at this point that the person for the job is Obama NOT McCain. Bill STOP being a cry baby and do your part!!!
I understand where President Clinton is coming from. What good is it to continue this line of behavior. Is it so improtant that we have a first black president that we lose our ability to be civil. I believe his point is that to continue talk like this takes away from more important issues. I for one beileve that Mr. Obama would be more effective if he would forego all of the snide remarks and inundoes about Mr. McCain age et al and focus on answering questions, telling me what he’s going to do. If you would take a step back and really look at it, President Clintion is giving a lesson in how to be presidential. We my very well elect Mr. Obama but I hope that in our haste to put the first black man, well Kenyan man in the white house that we haven’t fallen asleep at the wheel and as Tavis would say, hold him accountable for his actions. I am a democrat and I am undecided.
President Clinton is doing what he is doing because he doesn’t want to bite the hand that feeds him-rich white men.
I’m so very disappointed in the Clintons, I can’t believe their acting
this way, I alway’s supported the Clinton’s. This is a big blow to me,
but it won’t stop the Obama train America want’s a change for
the better and Obama is the right man for the job…………….
How brilliantly put!!!
