@umiaw – No DOGS are not on a HIGHER level than deer, moose, ducks or any animals that are hunted. This is just a hypocritical law that mainstream America has come up with. Today…2009…USA…more Black men commit violent crimes than ANY other RACE!!! More Black men murder/rape/assault other races than vice versa!! Get a grip – Let the man alone. All cultures have some deficiencies. Wrong is wrong. The problem is that the focus has been and always will be on the black man or woman. I remember when I was around 14 years old. I was in this department store. Every isle I went down this white lady followed me. The ironic thing was that while she had her focus on me a white lady and her daughter was stealing panties and bras. I can’t begin to tell you how funny I thought that was. I turned way and walked out the store and never went back again.

Be it white, asian, hispanic or whatever, other cultures fight dogs, roosters and only God knows what else. PETA just saw an opportunity to bring the focus to forefront and Vick got caught in the battle.

I know and do not judge, I work at a Prison and have for the pass 15 years as a Case Manager now and a Officer before. We must all remember to be careful, it is so easy to cross that line if not us our children, grandchildren, Mother, Father, neices and nephews, then the taste in our mouth is different, due to we feel that it is wrong what the Judge and DA did. Vick pay no attention to what people say about u. You are a great athlete and made a mistake in their eyes. To me you did what others been doing for years and you don’t see any of those people getting put in a prison.
