Bernice King Says Family Had To Sue Her Brother

In the latest verbal volley between the children of the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Martin III and Bernice King said that they had to sue Dexter King in order to preserve their father’s legacy and the family estate. “We love our brother, yet we cannot ignore our responsibility to ensure that the corporation we are all shareholders and directors of is properly managed,” they told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution through a statement from their attorney, Josh Smith. “Our right to obtain corporate documents that we have personally requested in the past few years, and more recently in the lawsuit that we have filed, have been continuously ignored.” Go to BET.com/News for more on this story. As everything else we face in life, a great Man of peace has a family that is bickering over finances. I have been involved in many instances where families have fallen apart because of pure greed. This is not something of God, this is of Man! How sad we have become.
My Lord, we have really come to an unsettling and disturbing low in the the world, when the children of the slain civil rights leader are taking matters to courts and it’s being published and drawn out………either that or GAS prices have gotten some outrageous! LOL
I know their parents are turning over in their graves. Family business should be kept with the family. You don’t publicly discuss what goes on in your house. Whatever differences siblings have with eachother should be handled privately. I am very disappointed and I know Mr & Mrs King would too.

If the siblings want to reach the mountaiin top and achieve the peace their parents spoke of they will come together and agree. If the facts of this situation are factual this too must pass. My prayer is they will settle, agree and represent.
