Shannon, I agree with you. People do need to look at what Obama is like on the inside instead of focusing on what he is on the outside. If the American people would have done that from the beginning, MCCain would have become president-elect. They would have seen Obama for who he REALLY is instead of turning their heads to it bc they wanted a black president SOOO bad. Pathetic. Everyone is so focused on yelling at the people who DON’T want Obama prez just bc he is black (as they should bc that is NO reason to not vote for someone), they forgot or are ignoring the fact that most people who voted for him want him in office BECAUSE he is black. And then there are the handful of people like me who actually care about TRUE equality and the genuine welfare of our country. People who could care less if our prez is black, white, asian, hispanic, european, jewish, etc. and see people for who they ARE and not what they LOOK like. I am tired of all the people that keep refering to Obama’s white half as though that is his redeeming quality, like it legitimizes him, or makes up for his black half. The world has been ruled by Europeans for hundreds of years now and look at the mess it is in. Obama got to where he is just like any other poor hard working American, black or white. No one saw his white half. When they looked at him they saw a black man and he had to overcome the same racism as the rest of Black America.

As for black people being racists, that is the most ignorant thing I have heard and it is ignorant for blacks to believe that about themselves. We are angry and tired. Despite slavery, jim crow, water hoses, beatings, lynchings (the list goes on and on) we still joined the armed forces, worked, and voted for white males who continued the onslaught of terror against us. Give me a break! African AMericans are the most accepting people on this earth. We turn on ourselves before we harm others. Riots are a prime example, we detsroyed our own communities. WE allowed our sons to bring home their other than black lovers when often times they were not accepted in those communities, indeed our sons were killed for it, but we kept smiling and accepting. Stop letting “others” tell us that we are racists. Look to our long history of struggle and terror in this country and how we continued to ask for acceptance and tolerance. We are a people who are basically full of love for everyone else except ourselves!

What I don’t understand is why so many people are going against Barak Obama being president? They keep digging trying to find something new to stop him from taking office. Now they say Obama shouldn’t be president because he was born in Kenya, well if you fill like that why is a foreign body builder the govenor of California? I’m so tired of all this racism in America, S***, I mean we should all be trying to come together to repair our country instead of worrying about where our President elect was born. Everyone just needs to grow up and see the BIG picture.

There is no half black. If anyone so thinks that he or she is, I challenge you to place yourself amongst a group of whites – call the police, give them a location and say that there is a black person is causing a commotion… place yourself amongst a group of black people and say that there are a group of blacks causing a commotion. In the former and the latter, see if you will be excluded as being black. It is highly doubtful that anyone is 100% anything!

I have a voice and its well past a time when it should be used. Obama has a passport – American. One must be an American to receive this passport.

There were two primary candidates engaged in this election. One has been and continues to be questioned and considered not tested. Whilst the other was often referred to as an American hero and thus a person who knows how to win a war. Mccain is a Vietnam Era veteran and former prisoner of war. A war that America lost – so many young Americans lost their lives during this war. A prisoner of war during any war, might be subjected to torture, but torture would remain subjective a term. It is apparent to me that Mccain is not a hero, as a hero would not be alive – as he or she would never have given classified information to preserve his or her life – such a person would’ve died for this country. Mccain is not a hero and has not the experience to win a war… but if this was not worthy of mention or questionable during the campaign. Unless the laws have been changed, it is my belief that the Uniformed Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) succinctly states that a soldier who gives classified information (anything other than “name, rank and serial number) may be considered as committing an act of treason… . I’m done with Mccain and those who chose to glorify in contrast to others who have served this country and perhaps blindly – who volunteers to serve in our armed forces and why? This is certainly important and questionable, as one who volunteers for any job or duty, does so willingly and for some purpose beneficial. Such a person should have the option to quit the job or duty when deemed necessary or desirable by the volunteer. During the Vietnam era, some were drafted and some were volunteers and, some volunteered in order to escape the confines of jail or prison. Does anyone truly believe that our military is void of those who would be criminals if not employed or “owned” by our military?
Do the research and find the truth and report it! One reason that America has been hated by those outside of its borders, is because of its treatment of Blacks and other minorities. Advertisements asking for Americans (all) to support impoverished people (notably in Africa) have run for years. Yet American blacks have been and still remain the only ethnic group having no foreign government to contact about being mistreated. The American government is the government of blacks whose ancestors were slaves who did not volunteer to serve America. Albeit for the most part, this country was built by the same slaves. Kenya has never been of assistance to American blacks… and certainly not a single vote was cast by a citizen of Kenya in deciding this election. Barrack Obama is a Black American who would be called a negro or colored boy during past times… who is probably considered the same as of this day, in places and amongst people who have not realized that these are new times or, simply refuse to concede to these new times. Hence there is no half black nor half white. As a slight majority, Americans are seemingly more in touch with these new times… but amongst those who were able to and did vote, how many were actually qualified (mentally) to vote?

I am shocked that Alan Keyes, a black man would be part of an effort to prohibit Obama from being installed as the 44th president of our great nation. Alan and all the other blacks who are part of this effort may be American but they certainly need to be removed our census records as members of the black population of this country.
