I have never met a non-African street dealer in Beijing. Not only did they openly sell hash on the street but they also aggressively targeted white tourists and residents. It got to be really annoying; while walking through parts of town you were almost guaranteed to be harassed at least once. Several months ago the local police swept through the area and deported/jailed a large number of them.

one day my daughter and I were discussing her history class topic for the day. She explained to me that past records show that english powers were frequent visitors to China. This is because the English wanted as usual to be apart of the chinese trading market ,they wanted to increase in wealth by their connection to the chinese ports and trading systems. Chinese being obedient to their traditionalist and confucanistic ways refused countless times and where not moved by the white mans bribary attempts. They were not swayed until they were introduced to opium.Opium is drug that the white man introduced to the Chinese. The chinese then became addicited and went to desperate measures to obtain this substance. Chinese leaders became furious because of the increase in theft, murders and deaths in their society. so much tht they banned opium. This didnt stop whites, because a few months later two englishmen had been observing how popular the opium trade was and began a smuggling company, which generated them speedy wealth,and also got them high positions in policital officies.
