Dueling Dems in a Draw

By Pamela Gentry, Senior Poltical Producer

Posted Feb. 22, 2008 – It was clear that both candidates were on a mission last night.  Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) wanted to show folks he had substance, not just flowery words, and Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) wanted to remind folks she’s in the race.

Both accomplished their goals.

The two candidates cordially debated the differences in their health care plans, their plans to improve the economy and foreign policy solutions, including the war in Iraq.  Both took shots at what they called the “failed policies” of the Bush administration.   Democratic Presidential Debate in Texas

But sparks did fly when Obama was asked about the accusation he plagiarized part of a recent speech.  Obama called the attention to this “the silly season in politics.”  Clinton responded that he wasn’t offering real change but “change you can Xerox,” bringing boos from the audience.

Another memorable moment came when Clinton implied Obama was all talk with few notable accomplishments.  In response, Obama offered a laundry list of his achievements in his professional and political life and then declined to “denigrate” Clinton’s record.  “I do think there is a fundamental difference between us in terms of how change comes about,” he said.

Obama said that Clinton’s comments gave the “implication” the folks who have voted or worked on his campaign are “somehow delusional” and somehow being “duped,”  a clear reference to his current frontrunner status.

Obama appeared calm throughout and didn’t let much ruffle his feathers and both looked thoughtful and made notes while the other was speaking.  The air conditioning fans on stage required them both to cover their notes.

Clinton’s remarks were pointed, and again focused on her experience.  She wanted to show voters as much contrast as possible, a hard task in the policy arena, so style and execution were the hot bottons.

The candidates will go before voters in Texas and Ohio on March 4. Obama with 10 straight wins since Super Tuesday leads Clinton in pledged delegates with an estimated 1319 to her 1250, without including super delegates.

The University of Texas Austin debate wrapped up with each candidate being asked to tell of a “defining moment” in their lives. Both had a composite of events in their lives they credited for shaping who they are now.

Obama talked about his childhood, being raised by a single mother and the influence of his up bringing.  “What was most important, in my life, was learning to take responsibility for my own actions, learning to take responsibility for not only my own actions but how I can bring people together to actually have an impact on the world,” he said.
Clinton’s last remarks were her best of the night, because they sounded sincere.  She told the audience as if her campaign could end any moment, “You know, whatever happens, we’re going to be fine. You know, we have strong support from our families and our friends. I just hope that we’ll be able to say the same thing about the American people. And that’s what this election should be about.”

This could be a sign the Dems have their “dream ticket” now the order on the ticket  could be decided in Ohio and Texas.

curious1….You said all that to say what? That you are still one of those that continue not to recognize Hillary Clinton as a viable candidate, and your comments are truly all based on hatred. It’s so sad that we as black people have come this far and then we use reverse racism in a important presidential campaign. Hillary exemplified last night that she is even more presidential than Obama will ever be. I’d rather have her as commander & chief than someone who has come out of now where with no experience…Hillary 08!!

  3. Jonsie on February 22nd, 2008

Senator Obama is now immune to her negative attacks and I think did an excellent job in the debate. Their policies are similar, where they differ is their ability to put the policy into effect. No one on Capitol Hill is going to want to work with Hillary, she’s divisive. Hillary needs to hang it up, she’s done!

They’re both phony, but Obama is worse. He claims real change, but there’s barely a sliver of daylight between him and Clinton on policy positions or their voting records in the Senate. He represents himself as a genuine progressive, but he’s cozy with Wall Street, voted in favor of tax breaks for Big Oil and he’s a loyal soldier of Amerikkkan empire. There’s symbolic value in the candidacies of each, but neither represents true systemic change.

  6. Joe Domingaux on February 22nd, 2008

Freeze, respect your comments. Yet there is nothing wrong with being in good relations with Wall Street. It is vital. In a capitalist society, in which we live, business and the creation of business, creates cash generation into our economies. Mr. Obama objection is the redistribution of this cash generation i.e. outsourcing, downsizing, COLA (cost of living allowances), to foreign economies that do not benefit the country or American workers.

Moreover for example in cities like Houston, it is not only the Oil and Gas International headquarters, it is #1 ranked city in America for African Americans and Latinos. This is based on economic growth and average income. It is among the largest cities that has among the lowest foreclosure rates, and highest home ownership growth. Most of these folks work for Big Oil, and/or companies that support them. Morevoer throughout the Gulf coast, cities like Baton Rouge throughout the South. These cities with high African American as well as Blue Collar union workers benefit from Big Oil. Which in turn does pump trillions of dollars into the economy. I.E. Look at Louisiana and gas prices, when Katrina hit.

Furthermore, there is a distinct difference in which Mr. Obama wants to maintain a system of checks and balances within Wall Street, where they do not exploit the very workers in which generate the profit, as compared to a socialist economy where common citizens are dwarted by stalling economies that generate no cash.

  11. FREEMONEY FAMILY ORGANIZATION on February 22nd, 2008

We at the Freemoney Family Organization were again impressed with the poise and clarity of Mr. Obama! Because Mr.Obama(and Mrs.Clinton) were restricted to providing answers to qestions posed by the debate moderators, Mr. Obama did not get an opportunity to articulate his vision for such things as, Student loan Debt of Doctors, and Social Security; Anyone who is sincerely interested in Mr.Obama’s position on these, as well as, other issues, should visit his official website or email his campaign!

The Freemoney Family Organization is most intrigued and elated by Mr.Obama statement that he will allow Doctors, who have large student loan debts, to perform community service, to pay-off their student loans, is most impressive to the Freemoney Family Organization! As anyone knows, we pay all members a lifetime monthly check, of which 20% is deducted if they do not perform, community service activities! The Freemoney Family Organization encourages Mr.Obama to consider allowing Americans to perform community service to address Social Security, as well as.

It is apparent that Mr. Obama’s Policy’s are inaccord with the American phrase”A Government of the , By the People and For the People”.

The Freemoney Family Organization looks forward to partnering with President Obama, to help all Americans maximize their FINANCIAL/INTELLECTUAL POSITION!

I was very proud of the way Obama deflected her attacks last night. I really feel as if he has the cool candor to guide this nation. His heart is in the right place. He inspires people to want better for this nation. And for the first time in my life, I do feel like I can call it OUR nation. All of ours. Not just theirs, like we’re just supposed to sit in the stands & watch. For once, we’re playing too.

This whole idea of ranting and raving about her antiquated “experiences” is another code word for affirmative action superceeding the “best man” for the job type thing. It’s a belly-aching buzz word that reminds people of the Reagan era when so many mainstreamers abhored the idea of leveling the playing field for African-Americans; a lawful upper hand as they “take” jobs from the obviously competent choices. They don’t seem to be considering the 200 year bell-curve and social homogenous favoring. Hillary C. is part of the old dog…new tricks syndrone that’s looking/hoping to put another feather in her cap instead of the feather’s sustance in every equal pot. I say, evolution is inevitable, after the chicken “changed” then came the egg.

It’s great that people are inspired and interested in politics because of Obama’s vision for change. Though I have much respect for Obama and have been a fan of his since his appearance and speech at the last DNC, he is not my candidate of choice. I have found his speeches inspiring, but it takes a whole lot more than words for me. He is, in my opinion, entirely too inexperienced to effectively run this country as to reverse all the damage caused by the Bush administration, as evidenced by his debate responses. He has a lot of good ideas on policy issues, but I never hear any specifics from him, meaning a stepwise plan as to how he would implement these policy changes. The changes he wants to make all sound good, but I need to hear exactly how he plans on accomplishing the changes and his inablity to give specifics is a testament to his inexperience. I think it’s going to take someone with much more in the way of political experience (someone like Hillary with 30+ yrs), and Obama who hasn’t even completed a full term in the senate just doesn’t have enough experience to deal with issues on the national and international scale. What gets me is the number of people I’ve had discussions with who have admitted that they are voting for Obama for one reason- because he’s black. We as a people have fought long and hard for simple equality, to be judged by our character as opposed to the color of our skin, yet many of us only see skin color when looking at the two candidates in the contest for the democratic nomination.
One last thing, for Curious1: If you’ve really been paying attention to the debates or to the political news, you would know that Clinton never said that Obama didn’t have a health care plan but she does. She has however made comparisons between their respective health care plans and state that Obama doesn’t have a universal health care plan that insures ALL Americans, leaving some 15 million uninsured. So, she never ‘lied’ and said that he didn’t have a health care plan, only pointed out the difference between the two.

Let me get this right. Hillary has experience is what all her supporters say. Im lost on this one. She started her campaign with 130 million dollars. Maybe more. She had the name recognition. Had the political land scape at her desposal. 20 point leads in almost every state. Bill clinton as one of her surrogates. By Febuary she had to borrow 5 million dollars from herself to fund her campaign. Her donor list consist of 60 to 70 thousand that contribute the maximum amount of $4600. What american family can afford to give HILLARY $4600, which mean rich people are giving her this money. Lost 11 elections in a row. Her 20 point lead has virtually vanished. Spent close 100 million in Iowa.

Not to mention we have seen at least 6 or seven different HILLARY,s. 1st there is the “let the conversation begin HILLARY, no wait I will be “Solutions” HILLARY, thats not working either. What about “eperience” HILLARY. Try again. “change” HILLARY. Sorry that one is taken. How about “ready from day one” HILLARY. Not that one because I have to be RIGHT on day one. Soon we are going to get HILLARY the “fighter, I will fight for you”. Her last slogan was the greatest “I love mexican food” HILLARY lol. She changed her campaign message at least 10xs. These slogans are the product of years of meticulous polling trying to find what the people want to hear. None have worked. Do not blame her campaign managers because she is the one is in charge of her campaign. If she cant tell her campaign managers they need to change direction what make you think she can convince her presidential staff to do their jobs. That is like G W BUSH blaming his staff for his decisions when he is the man in charge

Barack on the other hand has raised 36 million dollars in January and the #s for Febuary is close to 50 million dollars. Has gained 10 points per month in each state. His donors are around 600,000 people who give at least $140 per person which mean his money is coming from people that are not rich. His message is the same and it is simple “CHANGE”. He used grass root programs to push agenda through. He used something he learned a a community organizer to make his campaign work flawlessly. OBAMA has revolutionized the way campaigns are run in this country. Not to mention he was calm and carried himself very well when he was down in the polls he never attacked never panicked. He just kept plugging ahead. HILLARY, in her supporters eyes feel she has won every debate. Answer this question, WHY is she loosing?

My vote goes to OBAMA because of all that I have stated above, he came through with class. He beat her at her own game. OBAMA was the under dog from day one and he came through like a president would on day one.

  23. J.D. on February 23rd, 2008

I love the debating between KC and Curious1. Honestly, I had been a Clinton supporter until Bill and Hillary decided to play the race card by minimizing the legacy of MLK and the Civil Rights Movement. If Hillary wanted America to vote for her because she is the more qualified candidate, then she should have stuck to her policies, track record and the facts. Instead she and her husband resorted to the same old mud slinging type tactics. This strategy has caused her to lose momentum and may end up costing her the election. I believe that Hillary has her own agenda, but what politician doesn’t? Obama doesn’t have the experience his competitors have, but neither did Bush (the son) when he became President of the USA. Bottom line is, this American wants a person in the white house who is human like in character. A person with a conscience who cares if we all are able to have an opportunity at the pursuit of happiness. Someone who will do there best to keep us safe. I don’t believe that Hillary is that person. Nor do I believe that Hillary would be a trustworthy running mate for Obama. I think that Edwards would be a better selection for Obama to consider running with.

  24. Mikki Angelo on February 23rd, 2008

Hillary’s “widely praised final answer” in the Texas debate was taken from a John Edwards speech in Iowa in December. So all the accolades should be given to Edwards. Way to go Hillary, you accuse others of “plagarism” and then you copy repeatedly the words of others. I don’t know how many times she has copied what Obama himself has said, tried to take his slogans, etc. Hillary’s desperation is truly sad. I had no idea she could be so dirty. She should really bow out gracefully. That is if it is possible for her to do that. She appears to be a Narcissist and this is what they do: Attack others and then play “Victim” for sympathy. It is an obvious dirty tactic, from the Captain of a Sinking Ship!

You’re, absolutely right Jay! For all the experience Sen. Hillary Rodman Clinton has, it carries no weight, espeically, when it comes to looking out for the best interest of the American people. Sen. Hillary Rodman Clinton continues to contradict herself.

During the debate Sen. Hillary Rodman Clinton told the story of a mother, who approached her in pain, while she was in Texas. She went on to say how torned the mother was for her son, away from his family fighting in a senseless war.

Sen. Hillary Rodman Clinton promised when she become president, she going to do everything within her power to put end an to this war and bring everyone home.

The Senator failed to tell the truth. What Sen. Hillary Rodman Clinton should’ve said,

“I want to first apologize for making the wrong judgement call and supporting President George W. Bush and his decision to go to war.”

“I’m equally responsible for your son being away from home, risking his life each day in a senseless war, and the billions of dollars taken away from the American people spent on this war.”

Did she win the debate? WHAT DEBATE? It was like watching a dinasour trying to cling to life, desparately, as the earth began to change.

Sen. Hillary Clinton will never be president, not now and not in the future. WHY? Sen. Clinton want to stick to tradition. I’m for traditon, if it works. Unfortunately, tradition is not working, therefore a change need to take place. Sen. Hillary Clinton is not concern with what the American people want, or what’s best for them.

I think the Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes said it best in their song, “WAKE EVERYBODY.”

“WAKE UP EVERYBODY NO MORE SLEEPING IN BED NO MORE BACKWARD THINKIN, FOR THINKIN AHEAD. THE WORLD HAS CHANGE SO MUCH FROM WHAT IT USE TO BE.”

I watched Barack Obama that same night. He was in full control. He did not allow Sen. Clinton to sway him from his agenda with her immature silliness, nor did he stumble on his words when he stated why he was the better candidate for president. I no longer see him as Sen. Barack Obama. Instead,I see him as the President of The United States.

Julian Bond, Andrew Young and a host of other prominent African Americans believe its not the right time for Barack Obama to run for president. Some say he’s not seasoned yet. Many of these same folks support Sen. Hillary Rodman Clinton and strongly believe Barack Obama should sit this one out, wait unitl after Sen. Hillary Clinton had her day as president.

Imagine if you had to wait for someone to give you the green light to go, in order to become someting or do something.

Well, Barack Obama went against the grain. He decided to rock the boat and take the road less traveled. The moment he stepped outside of the box he became the master of his own destiny.

“DESTINY IS NOT A MATTER OF CHANCE; IT IS A MATTER OF CHOICE: IT IS NOT A THING TO BE WAITED FOR; IT IS A THING TO BE ACHIEVED.”
    —William jennings Bryon

With that said, Ladies and Gentlemen I like to welcome the President of the United States Barack Obama

Greeting to all who have the courage to state their opinions.
I am a firm believer in actions speak louder than words. I am from Chicago. I got people on the west and south side of the Chi. Out of all the people I poled, and African American Business Owners, over half told me they couldn’t see what Obama did for them in Chicago. About a quarter of people did not really know who he was. And the ones that did, obviously were students or lived in the immediately local areas where they were able to see change.
Now don’t get me wrong, he was a civil rights advocate and community organizer. For the well to do suburbs of Chicago. Which is okay. Now since he, has been in the Senate since 2005 what has he done for people like me, who have lived in the slums for over 7years. Whereas, under the Clinton administration, a lot of people like me saw the change in the projects, especially in the welfare system and tax credits.
If you all watched this past democratic debate, I only saw one candidate who had a concrete plan for specific policies. Clinton took a stand and said within the first 100days of her presidency, she would pass certain bills. No one will know until it happens, but she took a stand at saying it.
It is not enough to identify a problem and tell me what needs to happen, but I want to know what each candidate’s plan is to make it happen. My Grandma always told me, “a man who has no plan, plans to fail.” And after yesterday, I wasn’t hearing Obama’s plan.
I encourage everyone to look over the past debates. Pay attention to what each candidate, to include the Rep. are saying about issues that concern you. Now is the time to not only be wise, but educate and well informed voters. Do your homework.

And to all those who are hating and name calling, it is not that kind of party.

    ONE!

  29. Daphine on February 24th, 2008

    @ RhondaVu

I understand what you are saying but you should also ask yourself what can Hillary Clinton due for you or people like you. I have researched both their records and Obama impressed me the most. People want to hollar about all the things the Clintons did for African American people and every African American over 30 I asked couldn’t name one thing.

I am from California and one thing I do remember is the 3 strikes law, that law is the reason why so many African American men are in jail today in this state. The jails are so full that they have to send people to serve time in other states. Out here they give young AA boys a test in elementry school to see if or how many more jails they need to build.

I could go on and on about the dirt I found on the Clintons but I wont. Go to his site his plan is spelled out Hillary never talks about her plans in debates either she spins most of her time bashing Obama and Bush. I had to go to her site just so I could see where she stans on th issues. Obama has a plan you just have to research it and not depend on the media to give it to you.

    I want Obama for president…

I want to be apart of this American History.

Its time for American to have a leader of color and someone that our kids can look up to..

    DAPHINE,
JFK once said, “ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.”

what we should be asking, is what did president clinton do that enabled black people to help themselves create a better life for themselves? what has hillary done in her lifetime of service that has impacted black people and other minorities in a positive way? what has b.o. done?

  32. I Believe in Unity on February 24th, 2008

I would like someone to enlighten me on Hillary’s grand list of experience that she is riding on. I know that she did a lot as first lady and she has made changes that has impacted lives; however I believe that a person so well prepared and so experience should spin less time diverting Americans attention form important issues by trying to play the dozens (childish). I know that with the duty of being the first lady comes a lot of responsibility however being first lady does not give her presidential experience. You can’t place your spouses creditials on you resume and parade them around as your own. She need a new platform to run on besides expereince. I will have to agreed with Jay in saying that she had all the advantages of money, name, and a very popular ex-president in her corner and she is sinking. Who’s to say that she is not going to run the country the way she has run her campaign. Here is another scary thought, when things are not going her way guess I she is just going to spin her way out of it but trying personal attacks on the leaders of the other countries. People what is going on here. We are so interested in trying to down one another that we are not listening. Obama is talking about unity and amending broken relationships with other countries. Shouldn’t we want that. When Barack suggested sitting down and talking with our enemies she laughed and said she would talk with our enemies when she felt the time was right. Until she makes up her mind I guess we should just sit back wait. Every one knows that communication is the key to all adversity. So every one that frowns on the face of hope and change should ask themselves what do they really want for the country. It’s time for a president that see’s things in reality and is not afraid to speak the truth and if you don’t think your countries leader should be encouraging unity and improvment then I’m not sure what to say to you.

what if i said that i want hillary to win because we need a white president in the white house? that would be racist. so too is the above comment.

DON’T VOTE FOR B.O. BECAUSE HE IS BLACK.

because he’s actually not. he’s biracial. and before black people jumped on the b.o. bandwagon, they were calling him a sell-out.

HILLARY has the best experience and vision to lead the country for the next 8 years.

    Kris,
Ok tell me specifically what has Hillary done? Whats her 35 years of experience pertain to? Dont go to Barack, tell me about your candidate. Im listening. What political elected experience does she have other than her 1 term as a US Senator? Be Specific.

Meanwhile you and all Hillary supporters ponder, these are the facts as it stands.

Senator Clinton, who has served only one full term (6yrs.), and another year campaigning, has managed to author and pass into law, (20) twenty pieces of legislation in her first six years. These bills can be found on the website of the Library of Congress (www.thomas.loc.gov), but to save you trouble, I’ll post them here for you.

    1. Establish the Kate Mullany National Historic Site.

    2. Support the goals and ideals of Better Hearing and Speech Month.

    3. Recognize the Ellis Island Medal of Honor.

    4. Name courthouse after Thurgood Marshall.

    5. Name courthouse after James L. Watson.

    6. Name post office after Jonn A. O’Shea.

    7. Designate Aug. 7, 2003, as National Purple Heart Recognition Day.

    8. Support the goals and ideals of National Purple Heart Recognition Day.

    9. Honor the life and legacy of Alexander Hamilton on the bicentennial of his death.

    10. Congratulate the Syracuse Univ. Orange Men’s Lacrosse Team on winning the championship.

    11. Congratulate the Le Moyne College Dolphins Men’s Lacrosse Team on winning the championship.

    12. Establish the 225th Anniversary of the American Revolution Commemorative Program.

    13. Name post office after Sergeant Riayan A. Tejeda.

    14. Honor Shirley Chisholm for her service to the nation and express condolences on her death.

    15. Honor John J. Downing, Brian Fahey, and Harry Ford, firefighters who lost their lives on duty.

Only five of Clinton’s bills are more substantive, not to say naming facilities after proud Americans arent important of course.

    16. Extend period of unemployment assistance to victims of 9/11.

    17. Pay for city projects in response to 9/11

    18. Assist landmine victims in other countries.

    19. Assist family caregivers in accessing affordable respite care.

    20. Designate part of the National Forest System in Puerto Rico as protected in the wilderness preservation system.

There you have it, the facts straight from the Senate Record.

Now, I would post those of Obama’s, but the list is too substantive, so I’ll mainly categorize. During the first (8) eight years of his elected service he sponsored over 820 bills. He introduced

    233 regarding healthcare reform,

125 on poverty and public assistance,

    112 crime fighting bills,

    97 economic bills,

60 human rights and anti-discrimination bills,

    21 ethics reform bills,

    15 gun control,

6 veterans’ affairs and many others.

His first year in the U.S. Senate, he authored 152 bills and co-sponsored another 427. These included:

**the Coburn-Obama Government Transparency Act of 2006 (became law),

**The Lugar-Obama Nuclear Non-proliferation and Conventional Weapons Threat Reduction Act, (became law),

**The Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act, passed the Senate,

**The 2007 Government Ethics Bill, (became law),

**The Protection Against Excessive Executive Compensation Bill, (In committee), and many more

JOE, i had more respect for you than that. we’ve already been through this. you posted this same stuff, and then i rebutted with my own posting, and etc. etc…i’ve discussed why i think HILLARY is best. you leave out what’s convenient, and you trump up obama’s co-sponsorship of bills when many of them mean nothing other than a show of support. just like you can’t count all of hillary’s co-sponsorships as hard-hitting legislation.

HILLARY has the best combination of experience AND vision to lead the country. hands down. i won’t change my position, and you won’t change yours.

You dont have to respect me at all. REspect the facts. Its listed on the Library of Congress. Go rebuff them, i dont need your rebuffing

    KRIS
Name the bills she co-sponsored in the senate. Name a bill that actually helped her constituents. Assist landmine victims in other countries and Congratulate Le Moyne Lacrosse team. WOW, alot of people were helped in NY with those 2 bills. You cannot make this stuff up. Her terms in the senate are things a joke to me. Dont even go there about her being a visionary with experience. If she had the vision and experience, why couldn’t she see her campaign was going down in flames? Why couldn’t she adjust.

  41. lilbaby26 on February 24th, 2008

joe, you forgot that she signed the kyl-lieberman act on iran and signed the resolution to go to war in iran..if you all still have doubts, the way she is running her campaign should speak louder.

  42. lilbaby26 on February 25th, 2008

    and she supported NAFTA

  43. kris on February 25th, 2008

HILLARY has the best vision AND experience to lead the country. she has helped the people of new york in immeasurable ways, especially after 9/11.

in fact, she has been working on behalf of underprivileged people for decades. b.o. was still a squirt in his pappy’s sack when hillary was working for real CHANGE.

    that’s what I believe in!

Hillary Clinton is bi-polar I think. How can she be so agreeable at these debates and then attack Barack Obama and continue these smear tactics against him. She is such a two faced woman and I am ashamed that is not representative of professional woman with intelligence and dignity.

Her shouting tirade during her speech was embarrassing to watch. She should be humiliated by her behavior. She looks desperate and pathetic. She was making fun of the true messiah and comparing Barack to a religious God, if this doesn’t show desperation I don’t know what else does.

Poking fun at someone and being petty and sarcastic is know way to show American’s that you can be a leader.

I am proud to support Senator Obama. He has been calm and even-keeled. He has strongly denounced all the smeare tactics in a respectable manner and hasn’t fallen to her level. He holds himself up to what we expect from a Commander in Chief. Calm steadiness and thoughtful interaction.

When Hillary isn’t getting her way or is losing ground she resorts to loud obnoxious bullying. She is really throwing around the dirt and I hope we all see this for what it is…it’s desperation because Obama is tied in TEXAS… and the uglier she gets I hope the more people support Barack Obama.

The louder she gets the more she proves to supporters that she is losing the battle. The loudest person in a room is usually the WRONG one!

(christy) you are so right! if they were both yelling and screaming at eachother it would be
hard to really determine who the fools is.In
this case the answer is obvious.. today in the
news for all to see ms clinton mocked god! all
in an effort to humiliate barack obama! mama said
there would be days like this……This woman has
truely lost her mind and sold her soul..scarey!!
But she had a crowd of people behind her that
actually thought it was funny! Something about
chores singing and mannia from the sky she just
went on and on. To me it was very offensive!
    she is nuts.

  47. jay on February 26th, 2008

I took her little sybil episode personally. HILLARY basically told OBAMA supporters that we are too dumb and naive to not vote for her. That hope and unity cant exist in this country because she said it couldn’t. HILLARY wonders why the black vote is turned off by her. HOPE is the one thing that black people lived on their entire lives. Its the one thing we identify with. Its not OBAMA,s race its his message. That message cuts all black people to the their very core. We understand that message clearly. The very people that she would insult(not only black people) are the very same people she will need if she is able to steal the nomination. When my ancestors were sIaves, it wasn’t hard work that kept them going, it was HOPE. Those young men fighting in IRAQ aren,t thinking “well if I work hard I will make it home”. Those young men are HOPEing they make it back to the s. I am convinced that her attitude is, if she cant win, then she is going to take the DNC down with her. UNBELIVABLE.
