JOE, experience doesn’t only include working on/passing legislation. if that were the case, then everything b.o. did for his community on chicago’s southside doesn’t count. but, i propose it does.

therefore, i mean experience to include her pro bono work as a lawyer and advocate for families and children. deep, rich history there. her work with marian wright edelman (children’s defense fund). her work as first lady of arkansas and the u.s. she worked on numerous fronts to help people. tell me that her experience in that respect doesn’t count!? people on this site will discount EVERYTHING she’s done to trump up their candidate. and it’s sad that someone who’s worked on behalf of others for most of her life, is basically discredited.

now, i respect b.o. and the work HE has done. i just propose that the breadth and depth of that work, is not as great as HILLARY’S. which leads me to the conclusion that she has more experience.

John Lewis is just as bad as a lot of the other black caucus members. This man claims he see a change and so forth, Why wasn’t he on board with Obama when he first started out? Now he jumps on board when Obama is ahead in the polls and have won most of the states. At least Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs stood by Hillary and gave her word, but lewis???? is The man has no courage and is worried about re-election in his district. I know he was part of the civil rights movement and to him he has my respect, but don’t do the safe political move and say it takes a lot of courage.

patrick and kris, i do agree with you to a point. i don’t think that it is wise of lewis to jump ship as of yet because it is too close. but at the same time, it isnt about loyalty. that’ y hillary’c campaigned failed because instead of surrounding herself around the best and brightest, she chose people out of loyalty who gave her bad advice.

Congressman John Lewis did the right thing! Who wants to be on a Titanic of a ship that is destined to sink? I was shocked when he and other black leaders supported Hillary in the 1st place and just chalked it up to “favors owed”.

Nevertheless, the support of “confused black leaders” did not help her anyway. Hillary lost by huge margins in Lewis’ home state of Georgia.

Blacks are still voting for the best candidate, and don’t need leaders to point them to the obvious choice for the next President of the United States…Barack Obama!
