They should not include the previous votes because they were banned for having primaries too early. If they want to do a do-over, I think that is a bad idea as well. You can make a rule then try to come back after the fact and change it to include someting that wasn’t allowed in the first place. I am from Michigan, and I say no we should not vote again. Our Political Leaders knew what they were doing when they voted for this move. So now they realize when they are up for relection a lot of voters will remember what happened and they will lose their seat.

The Clintons have been dirty their entire political career. I at one point had respect for the Clintons until I see just how down and dirty they are willing to go. I believe there is a tool on CNN.com that clearly shows…Hill cannot win…the superdelegates won’t even be necessary….if she wants to continue this…based on the math on 6/7 in PR WHEN Barack wins he would have enough delegates to secure the nomination. Hillary is Losing! The only way Mich. and Fl. should be counted is if there is another election process. To seat what was already done, would be disenfranchisement because millions of Dems. did not come out to vote because they were told their vote would not count. So a small % came out in Florida, and most were Clinton supporters. That of course, is why Clinton wants the delegates in this bogus election to be seated. Obama wasn’t even on the Mich. ballot so you couldn’t vote on him –so of course those who voted –did so for Clinton.

If it is about fairness, then the election process should be re-done completely! Fl. and Mich. officials should not have moved the primary date–they agreed not to be seated, so the only reason there is even a discussion is because Hillary is losing the nomination, and needs to pull some under-handed move, like the one we had in 2000, in order to get the Nomination.

By in large, Obama supporters will not vote for Hillary if she is the nominee. Obama is President material, not V.P. Hillary, with her childish tricks and temper tantrums is not Pres. or V.P. material, and maybe can act periodically on an “advisor” level, although Obama’s judgement in obviously more sound.

I think they should have a “do-over” but not the way it has been suggested.That suggestion is a mail-in vote which will open the door for fruad.
Hillary is the only one who ran in both states,Sen. Obama and John Edwards followed the rules and did not have their names on the ballot.
Now that there are two remaining it is only fair that both camps should contribute to the do-over in Florida,the cost is $25 million,therfore both camps should cough up $5 million each since the overall cost is $25 million.It would be political malpratice for the Democratic party too not include both states in the nominating process.

I did not donate to my candidates campaign to have them waste the money on states that have officials who can not follow the rules. Why should we pay for their error? CNN ran a report last night showing that even if Michigan and Florida re-votes Hillary will not recieve enough delegates for the nomination. Why should we pay for their mistakes. Change is needed to get away from these crazy tactics to win (Bush/Gore repeat).
