Clinton Made a Choice to Stay, Too

Posted March 26, 2008 – Democrat Hillary Clinton decided Tuesday to deflect questions about her misleading recollection of her trip to Bosnia, by providing her rival with advice on how to deal with the fiery comments by the Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
Clinton admitted she misled people about her humanitarian trip in 1996. “I made a mistake. That happens,” she told reporters during a news conference in Pennsylvania. “It proves I’m human, which, for some people, is a revelation. ”
Well, “being human” could be an excuse for most folks who make mistakes. But it isn’t one she’s been willing to allow Wright.
The media has shied away from publicly calling the New York senator a liar, but she didn’t tell the truth about this trip, and it begs the question, ”What else could she be misleading the American people about?”
What troubles me more is her comments regarding Sen. Barack Obama’s (D-Ill.) decision not to leave his church.
“I think, given all we have heard and seen, he would not have been my pastor,” the New York senator told a Pittsburgh newspaper this week. That’s some tough talk from someone whose choices were questioned when she declined to renounce her husband’s behavior involving Monica Lewinsky.
Clinton has never really explained why she decided not to leave her husband, if only for a short time, after she discovered his involvement with the White House intern. President Bill Clinton lied to his family and the American people about the extra-marital affair, and he was punished with impeachment. But why did she stay?
On Tuesday, Chelsea, on the campaign trail for the senator, was speaking to college students in Indiana. She was asked about the Lewinsky affair. She told the student that, in all of her 70 college visits, the question had never been asked. “And I do not think that is any of your business,” she responded.
It’s difficult to draw lines in the sand when you’re running for public office, which requires public trust. The Clintons want all unpleasant and unpopular parts of their past off-limits.
“We don’t have a choice when it comes to our relatives. We have a choice when it comes to our pastors and the church we attend,” Clinton told reporters.
Most folks would agree with the senator. But for the thousands of women who divorced their husbands for similar breaches of trust, they might ask her why she made a choice to stay. She made her choice, and no one questioned it.
BS! First and foremost, Hillary wants Obama to leave the church and yet, she and her husband invited the same Rev. Wright to the White House! Also, this man is a veteran, he proved that he loved this country more than it loved him and you can understand how he feels being a veteran and then turning around and coming back to this same country that said he is good enough to die for but not good enough to be respected in.
Lastly, did the Clinton’s forget that their own pastor was found guilty of child molestation? I much rather have Rev. Wright curse about his right to free speech than to support someone who will hurt an innocent child. Remember Hillary, ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS.
why does the press let hillary get away with the fact that she and her husband have attended black churches and would know the kind of rhetoric being spewed?? she just told another boldfaced lie about that but it doesn’t get questioned. they know who rev wright is and what black churches are all about, but they never came out to defend the message. of all people who did,.. mike huckabee.

Why is it that the major media stations are not questioning her character on being “human” and repeatedly lying to the public. Is this ok for her because… ????

Hilary is also misleading the American people by lying about the Peter Paul situation. Almost got the guy killed in south America. She lied about not knowing the guy whereby the guy contributed millions of Dollars to her campaign. How about that.
I have always held the Clintons in high esteem, but the longer this race to the presidency holds on, the more we get to know about them, and unfortunately, it is not all rosy!Misspoke, what is that supposed to mean, Ms. Clinton you lied, and this kinds of scares me, how many other lies are lurking in the dark, how in the world one gets to compared their lie to one choosing a pastor beats me, come to think of it, should we put your pastor and Obama’s pastor on a scale, to find out who is mmmm, what’s the word again? I will leave that to your Imagination.

As Whoopi said on the view this morning about Hillary’s comment on Rev.Wright, “We do have a choice on our family members we choose who we will and will not marry”.
Iused to really admire Hillary but now another side of her is starting to emerge.People can definitely see it too.
Did anyone questioned her about why she stayed with a man who cleary doesn’t have an ounce of respect for her or her daughter. She flat out lied and she has been grasping at straws from the very beginging.
If Hillary feels so strongly about Obama leaving his church because of Rev. Wright’s comments over the years, then why was Rev. Wright at the White House with her and Bill? I understand that the comments made by Rev. Wright may have come after Clinton’s presidency, but if Wright’s way of preaching has gone on for years then the Clinton’s should have none this when they invited him into their home! She is very shady!

SHE STAYED WITH MR.CLINTON AFTER THE AFFAIR BECAUSE SHE KNEW AT ONE POINT SHE WAS GOING TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT OF THE U.S. AND I BELIEVE MARRIAGE IS ONE OF THE QUALIFICATIONS. TO ME IT JUST SEEMS HILARY HAS A HIDDEN AGENDA ABOUT EVERYTHING SHE ENCOUNTER.
Hillary Clinton has an agenda alright, she is a Drama Queen. If she makes it to the White House; which she won’t, unless she plans to steal it, the country will not be able to focus on the issues at hand. The media will be too tied up in the Clinton’s Drama. They need a reality show. They are worse than Whitney and Bobby. Drama… Drama, Drama, Drama.
Once again she is pulling the poor feel sorry for me act. Just another diversion from herself whenever she is caught in a lie or feels she is losing the race she turns to attack Sen. Obama.
And the public and media allow’s her too continually get away with this kind of action.
IS THIS THE KIND OF PERSON YOU WANT TO RUN OUR COUNTRY?
We all have people in our lives who don’t necessarily have the same beliefs as our own, but aren’t they allowed to have freedom of thought, belief’s, and speech.
I’m sure she has people in her life such as her minister who kills children’s spirit and changes their lives forever by molesting them.
Has she spoken about that or like she always does is she sweeping it under a rug so nobody can see it.
Why can’t she be woman enough to stick to issues and stop attacking to divert attention away from her own short commings or those of family, friends, acquaintances and ministers
