As far as “treating kids of color with disrespect,” teachers don’t like it when the white kids curse them out either. Teachers don’t like it when the white kids bring guns to school either, and they don’t like it when the white kids disrupt their class. IT GOES BOTH WAYS, kids get treated how they want to be treated. Public or Private, disruptive kids will have problems, but I think Obama kids will do fine.

Security is irrelevant. Kids can be kidnapped and threatened from private just as easily as public schools. This is just a case of Politicians as well as teachers making a choice but not allowing us to have school choice. Fact: 38% of DC Teachers wont send their kids to public schools, they send them to private. The general population numbers are much lower: 19% The point is Politicians and teachers know that publics schools are awful, but they WILL NOT allow you the free choice to attend another school. YES i’m talkin vouchers.
