Right-Wing are All Wrong

April 15, 2009 – As if things aren’t bad enough with the faltering economy, devastating job losses and rapid home foreclosures, a new government report is warning that right-wing extremist groups could be planning to use the hard times and the election of the nation’s first Black president as a recruiting tool.

In a nine page report done by Department of Homeland Security in coordination with the FBI they found,  “No specific information that domestic right-wing terrorists are currently planning acts of violence,” but  the current climate “could create a fertile recruiting environment for right-wing extremists and even result in confrontations between such groups and government authorities similar to those in the past.”

The report was published April 7 and compared the current racially charged environment to the 1990’s, “when right-wing extremism experienced a resurgence fueled largely by an economic recession.”

The federal report titled,  “Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment,” was given to federal, state and local law enforcement folks to give them a heads ups.

But the economy isn’t the only issue troubling this population.  The election of the first African-American president is also a factor and has become one of their key recruiting tools.

“Many right-wing extremists are antagonistic toward the new presidential administration and its perceived stance on a range of issues, including immigration and citizenship, the expansion of social programs to minorities, and restrictions on firearm ownership and use,” the report said.

Those faced with the daily responsibilities to protect President Obama may have become aware of the challanges during the 2008 presidential campaign. According to this report the 2008 campaign election there were threats from a variety of what they identified as “small cells” that were handled by law enforcement.

Now we have to hope the next wave of threats will be “handled” without incident.

Why do you think bad times increase this “hater” type of behavior in the country?

This is a bunch of b.s.
So, if I’m against women killing their unborn child 7 months into pregnancy, I’m a right-wing extremist.
If I’m pro-guns, I’m a right-wing extremist.
If I disagree with Obama, I’m a right-wing extremist.

Democrats are glittering jewels of ignorance!

When Mexican immigrants protested, they were praised
When Gays and Lesbos protested, they were hailed as heroes of civil rights.

Is it just me that sees the hypocrisy…?

Instead of the DHS targeting Mexicans gangs and Islamic extremist in America, they are concerned with “disgruntle” TAXpayers and MILITARY vets.

These people are imbeciles.

Good that to government is aware – despite any particular groupings, which I have noticed in my area where there wasn’t a particular segregation of youth, now you can place them easily – we need to continue to work on young people and their ability to be individual and fit in and help in their need to feel they need to identify with a group – but together with a growing drug problem in our communities, crime is up. This economy can be blamed only so far, but something is happening, whether depression or feeling lost in this world that seems to be on a downward spiral, crime is up. People are getting carjacked, mugged, home are being broken into and the problem is getting worse…we need some real focus on that.

Alex, can you not read or do you just not know how to understand simple words? Let me point something out for you:

“Many right-wing extremists are antagonistic toward the new presidential administration and its perceived stance on a range of issues…”

They did not say that everybody who is against immigration, citizenship, and restrictions on firearms are right-wing extremists. They said that many people who are right-wing extremists have these beliefs. YOU seem to be the only imbecile around.

Naila said on April 15th, 2009

By the way Alex, anybody who would call a whole group of people ignorant because of an article, is ignorant themselves. I would not call all Republicans ignorant because they made the mistake of helping to elect a no-good president twice because I cannot prove ALL Republicans did. I also do not know every Republican in the US so I can’t possibly bunch them all together and label them ignorant. You seriously need to get an education before you ignorance spreads to the youth that you are exposed to on a day to day basis.

Joshua,

First off, I never said I was a republican and I didn’t tell you who I voted for or who I wanted to win, so calm down and stop assuming things.

Secondly, you need to think before you post.
You said “Typical republicans can’t respect anyone who ain’t republican.”
Lol. Right cause you obviously respect those who disagree with your view point, right?

Then you said “Got to name call and criticize those who believe different than you morons. Grow up you whiny little boys! ”
-So you complain about name calling and then you decide to call me a name!? You’re too funny.

By the way read my post again,I didn’t call anyone a name in my post.
However, your post is riddled with hypocrisy.

jakori said on April 15th, 2009

ALEX, I see your point! However I think the problem is the mentality of white people who carry this opinion. This is why it’s so important not to let your opinion, or voice fall into the wrong hands! because their those of your nationality who believe that the White man is at war! And that every other race is their enemy and by any means neccessary they are prepared to take the country back, exspecially now since the Pres is Afro Amer. The question is take it back from who? Because from where I stand the white man is in complete control.

Jakori, I completely agree with your second post.

The people who have a problem with some of Obama’s plans, especially his financial plans, really should have been upset with bush also.
President Bush didn’t do much to help the economy with all his wasteful spending, yet a lot of republicans didn’t say a word. All of a sudden when Obama decides to spend like a maniac too, they want to hold protests.
It doesn’t make much sense. If it’s bad when one president does it then it should be bad if the other one does it too. Same thing goes for democrats trying to defend Obama on every thing he does but were quick to demonize bush for everything he did. It’s ridiculous really.

See if we allow our opinions to divide the people, the foundation, then we are vonurable to those who want to really do us harm. jakori said on April 16th, 2009

Alex I’m sorry but it wasn’t a success! I mean Taxes have been high in this country for ages. We have always been in the top ratings for taxes. So why all of the anger now! America was $10+trilliion in debt by Oct 2008…… No Obama in site! And although there’s now a debt of $11+trillion, the american public is accountable for only about half. Still alot, but my point is why be mad now. Why point at Obama? He’s only added about a triliion dollars to a mountain of debt that that was established by those before him. This is why The Tea Party, which in had nothing to do with taxes in the 1700’s looks negative.

jakori said on April 16th, 2009

This is why the Tea Parties looked so negative, because the media is pointing the problem at Obama and to add fuel to the fire. I watched the news and all the coverage at the Tea Parties and I didn’t see one African American, Asians, Hispanics, just a lot of white people. Not to say that tey weren’t there, but very few if any. If this is a Gov protest, and a true concern for All Americans why was it so bias. Just like the elections. When you watch a Obama crowd it really looked like America. There were people of all races standing together, but McCains crowds where always 99% white. So evidently there’s a group of white Americans who don’t want change and can’t hold hands with other Americans

However, do you think that people with a little bit of knowledge would stand-up and say something…no! Yeah, the government is posting information that we as civilians known about for years, decades, centuries..and sadly to say what are we doing about it nothing..All of us can judge and complain, and blame who ever, but we have failed to realize that its all in the books. History repeats itself.. and some people still don’t know how to pick-up a book and use it…Get some knowledge before broadcasting your opinions..Honestly, the reason ‘why’, exetremist have been undercover for so long is because ‘blacks have a great way of killing, disrespecting, and selling out their own culture”.. That within itself is just a tasted of what racial groups and exetremist don’t need to do…When the civil rights movement was brought forth…the older generation did all the work, while the younger generation or generation reaped the benefits..but what do we do to allow the honor and the leaguses to continue to go on…instead we allow money to be our chains…we allow stereotypes to hold-us back..yes we need a revolution…Obama is only human..but aleast he made it.. aleast he did not let is color stop him from becoming the first black president…compared to blacks now! Obama made because he held his self as an equal…and he didn’t need approvals from whites, but approvals from America! This is just the beginning

Who says I have only recently been dismayed with our borrow and spend economics? Please dont make assumptions and interject them as fact.

It makes me so sad to see blacks (Alex and rednblack for example) following the “others” lead and persecuting our president in the beginning of his first year in office. Don’t assume that every other black that supports Obama are “mindless sheep” just because we don’t agree with your assessment of how our president is doing. Isn’t there a learning curve on everyone’s job? I understand the seriousness of the times but what do you expect from him? He inherited this mess and is doing what he thinks is best for the country. Did you protest this vehemently when Bush was in office creating this mess with the help of congress for 8 years? Where was your outrage then? This administration is about more than race although race is a factor in this presidency because it’s a first for us blacks. Why must you put a damper on that by lumping everybody who supports Obama as less intelligent than you? That is simply not true. And please if you cannot respond with respect then please ignore my comment. Intelligent adults should be able to disagree and still remain cordial. Leave that to the others.
Respectfully,

Mrs. Dandridge

rednblack said on April 17th, 2009

Too ALL who believe Obama is following the right plan; PLEASE READ:
*
What got us into this mess was the FED(Federal Reserve) creating a loose money supply and holding interest rates artificially too low for an extended period of time. This created an artificial bubble in the Housing market as Home values soared well beyond their true value. The phony US economy became primararly consumer driven(70%) due to its borrow and spend practices. Look around your house at all the stuff you have bought! We have blown through all of our savings and have accumulted vast amounts of debt. BIG PROBLEM!!!
*
Present day 2009: The American Consumer has wised up. We have begun to tighten our belts up and started to save again. EXCELLENT!
*
QUE in Obamas Adminstration: He has said “The only way out of this is via the Government to spend”. He has in fact only repeating the same problem. Our problem is borrow/spend create debt. The only difference is that now the Government is doing the spending and debt creation for us. This is exactly what we dont need. The final bubble is the Government Debt load which cannot be sustained.
*
We are only delaying the inevitable; It will come and it is going to be beyond bad!

@Mrs Dandridge
I agree with your premise that the majority of Republicans were nowhere to be found when Bush was up to his shenanigans:
*
Bush’s Federal takeover of the Education system with his “No child left behind” was BS
*
Bush’s Prescription Drug Policies damaged that industry and took the free market out of any real ability to self correct
*
Bush’s escalation of the Iraq war financed through a credit card was very questionable
*
Bush’s reckless and out of control spending and unwillingness to stand up to his own party may never be corrected
*
Conversly the Democrats have yet to face up to the fact that Obama is repeating and exacerbating the same problems Bush created. WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!

There isn’t a learning curve. He has but all the right people I the right position by his account. So no.

I expect Obama not to exaggerate his policies -95% of taxpayer will receive…umm… 15 extra bucks a week. Unacceptable! That does nothing for me.

He doesn’t understand what has made America great. If he thinks redistributing the wealth of “rich” folks to “poor” folks is best for the country, then he needs to become Prime Minister of somewhere.

Honestly, when I read these comments it makes me feel more intelligent. And I say that with all due respect.

I’m not a big Bush fan. So yes I disagreed with him- except on the war and national security.

all i have to say is that all of you yelling about what alex is saying and those who agree with him is that you are all acting like little freaking kids everyone has different beliefs so if that is the way some one feels about something let them you dont have to go all crazy cause of some words the main deal with this stuff going on is that the majority of people voted for obama you did cause hes not white thats why most of people voted for their first time but if it was just white males again most of the people that voted probably wouldn’t of just like before so just acting like freaking kids in high school cause racism has been building up the last some odd years any how its not just cause of some black president so shut up

@ rednblack

Don’t forget about the bank loans and foreclosures. Those really put us under because houses were being foreclosed, loans weren’t being paid, so banks couldn’t pay back with interest. That caused people to take their money out of the banks and…well it was all downhill from there, basically.
